I had a previous questionable experience with Steve prior to this. In the winter my furnace stopped working. He diagnosed it to a broken circuit board which he was able to fix at the time for a few hundred dollars. He said he would need to replace the board as the fix was temporary and the part would be around $200. A week later he called and said it would be a $1000 for parts alone. I did nothing and it has been fine. My second furnace blower broke this summer during a heat wave, on a Saturday. When I called he was a bit offensive telling me it would be $250 extra just for him to come out. I scheduled an appointment for during the week. He came and took several parts from my furnace and left saying he would be back in 2 days (which would be a Friday) or Monday at the latest. My wife was home at the time so I didn't speak to him. He never identified what was wrong or how much it would cost. A week later with no AC in the summer I called and he told me he was very busy which is why he didn't bother ever contacting me. Again he said 2 days and the parts would be in. Another week later I called and apparently the parts were in and reluctantly he was actually going to come back. It took him a total of 45 minutes to do the work and he was ready to leave. When I tried the AC it still was not working. He said it would take 15 minutes for the system to reset and would start working again. Luckily I didn't let him go because it still did not work. I should have known this guy was not trustworthy as he works for Craig Morrison. He is un-responsive, does subpar work, and is expensive. There are plenty of other companies in the area which even if they did a bad job would do better than Steve.
