We hired Glidden Excavation to dig our new water line from the Town of Ashland. They arrived on time, did the job through to completion without breaking, kept us apprised of their progress throughout, and cleaned up the area admirably when they were finished. Their demeanor was throughly professional, they were respectful of our needs and our property, and we felt like their fee was well earned. Of the three estimates we received for this work, there's was not the cheapest nor most expensive, but was worth what they charged given the final outcome. I can't recommend Stephen and his company more highly. We're very pleased.

We had roots growing inside the cast iron pipes (part of the original sewer line), found after they cause the first clogged sewer in many years. After a few times re-scheduling, Stephen came with a small digger and a dump truck, on time, worked very diligently, and left no mess behind. I could not be happier.

We were battling problems (low water pressure and
roots in the sewer pipe) since we moved into our house (first time homeowners),
and roto rooter made somepretty buck on us. It was time for more radical
measures. After interviewing 3 potential contractors, we chose Glidden
(reasonable price and all the neighbors who had hired him were happy with his
work). Except for a minor miscommunication before work started, Steven was
punctual, polite and very professional. Our yard was a tough place to work, but
Steven didn't overcharge for the surprises along the way. Ever since work was completed
we haven’t had any issues with the water pressure or the sewer. And every neighbor
who had asked us who did the work for us has been recommended to use Glidden
Excavations.
