Hired Mark Lafferty to remove tree stumps and level my site for a swing set. Price and written service detail earn the job. I have lower quote from others but they would do a lot less work. Communication is not instant but he finished the job in 1 week from start quote to haul away equipment. The actual work is more than expected. He not only removed big visible stumps, but also examined every foot of the site to dig all stumps out. He also extend the work to the edge of lot to make good slope. Overall, highly recommended contractor.

Hired them because of the low price and strong reviews. They did a good job but not great. Positive points: best price, accommodated my schedule, completed in one day as promised, most of the driveway looks good. Negatives: Slow to respond/communicate, one area of the drive looks susceptible to water penetration, one tree was damaged, asphalt stuck high up on the retaining wall, underground dog fence damaged, workman left chicken bones by the road which my dog found.

The work done was reasonable and for the cost. He worked with a subcontractor that was actually a neighbor and the work was done well dispite some unexpected conditions (things they found while removing the old driveway).

I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. Very professional. Friendly crew on site. Excellent value for the money. Job consisted of reclaiming forested area near my house. Tree removal and stumping. Grading, bringing in loam & compost material. Professional preparation for hydro-seeding. Asked to add a few side jobs, crushed stone in area. Happy to do it, and at a very nice price. Can't say enough good things about these guys, and my experience as a consumer. Sincerely, Rob
