They did a great job and were significantly less expensive than other estimates. The closest estimate to theirs was $10,000 but wasn't for the same quality material used by Ranch Roofing. My only complaint: I was never warned to cover things in the attic. As they hammered, particles fell from ceiling and covered my belongings. Otherwise, they worked efficiently. It only took 5 men to complete it in one day. Also, they picked everything up at the end of the day including all loose nails in the yard, which they used a magnet to collect.
Description of Work: Ranch Roofing replaced our roof.

Excellent experience. Despite the fact that they were extremely busy and jobs were delayed due to heavy rain in September, they kept us informed via email and still came when they initially said they would. We got 3 quotes. There quote was the best price and their story about putting water barriers around the edge of the roof (not just under the roofing shingles) made a lot of sense. We had bad water damage from Ice dams after the bit 2010 snow season. After repairing the walls and ceilings, we called roofers to see how we could prevent it from happening again. They put down water shield under the whole back roof and around the edges. They also inspected the soffiting to make sure we have proper air circulation in the attic. The work was done on time and looks good (although one can't really be sure until one lives with it for a winter). They cleaned up very well and were done in 1.5 days. The communication and responsiveness was excellent.
Description of Work: We had the back half of our roof replaced (~2000 sq ft). They put down water shield and new roofing shingles. The old roof was 15 years old but had begun leaking.

Summary This roof needed actually 4 full days of work to be completed? almost twice as long as anticipated. Unexpected rotted wood and skylight replacement slowed their work, and resulted in this projected-2-day installation taking 4 days to be done. Also, I needed 8 sheets of plywood replaced, and the estimate covered only 2. That additional cost was not expected, but it was worth it, and I have no complaints about it. I also needed new skylights, whether I wanted them new or not. Ranch Roofing purchased and installed them ? another good surprise. I paid for the skylights, and they are not cheap? but I paid less than any of the other prices I had quoted. The pictures are pretty self explanatory (Pictures at "casadossarli.wordpress.com"), and it is evident that they did a careful job. It helped that I was personally on the roof every hour or so, taking pictures of everything. There are things that I did not or could not document in pictures, and even those were definitely made with care. In short, they did all the work with care, from start to finish. Now, this is a real roof in a real house, and any construction project is dirty, dusty, and involves some challenges ? that is the reality. Having said that, I am very comfortable with the service they executed, very pleased with the results, and very comfortable recommending their services. (((Complete report is posted at "casadossarli.wordpress.com"))) Roofing Estimations I started searching for roofers in the summer of 2010, and received several estimates. I went to Angie?s List, and selected only roofers with several top reviews. Other priorities made me delay the job one more year. In the summer of 2011 I started searching for a roofer again. Back into Angie?s List, I selected more than 10 roofers in my area. My selection criterion was somewhat simple ? the roofer had to have more than 10 top reviews in the last 12 months. If there was a negative review, I would read that carefully: some negative reviews are rants without real merit, so I ignored those. After selecting the best ranked roofers on Angie?s List, I added personal recommendations to the list as well, but only after cross checking them with Angie?s List. In mid August, I started calling the roofing companies. Most of the times, I had to leave a message in a voice mail system, but most of them actually called back in a reasonable timeframe. I actually kept dates and times I called each company, so I knew their reply time. Most of them set a date for a visit and estimation within 2 weeks, and they were in general pretty good about showing up on time. Then, after they came here, the ?fun? started? Some estimates were hand-written? which is not a crime, but it is also not the professional impression I wanted / expected. Some people had samples of their materials, but some didn?t. I asked dumb questions, and some of them answered pretty well? but others tried to exploit me. There were some obvious high-pressure sales attempts, and some scare tactics? I let them play their games, but those attitudes disqualified them from actually getting the job. Across all estimates, glossy and screaming bright colors abound, demanding attention? but them there were mistakes, omissions, typos, bad graphics, no structured presentation, etc. Many estimates were sent by email, which was a good surprise. Unfortunately, those too lack care in their presentation, or a well thought strategy (if any). It soon becomes obvious that all these roofers would profit a lot from hiring a good marketer ? good marketing strategy is always better. As expected, the best people did not add pressure to the sale. Instead, they were polite, straight forward, had a general concern for my understanding of the issues, and explained well what they do, how they do it, and why the do it. After some 25 companies contacted, we went through the notes, visits, and estimates, and selected 9 companies that we actually considered working with. Prices and Selection We used a standard multi-objectives analysis of the selected 9 estimates. There were attributed scores for the presentation and selection/usage of materials used. The actual usage of the materials (6ft of watershield on the edges, versus 9ft) was also part of the materials? score. With all scores and prices tabulated, we selected our company ? Ranch Renovations, DBA Ranch Roofing. Were they the cheapest? No ? Among the 9 companies compared, there were 5 estimated total prices lower than theirs, so they were somewhere in the middle. When we compared all scores and the expected board replacements, they became the second best ranked company, very close to the first place. Unfortunately, the people in the first place did not have a good presentation when they visited me?. and for a minimal difference, I chose to work with the company that presented itself better. Once again: Marketing matters! On October 7, I signed the proposal and sent the $500 deposit check: They were officially hired for the job. Execution On December 1st, as planned, they arrived ? on time. The initial crew was 4 people, 2 trucks. Later in the day, there were 5 or six people, one or two more cars, and a dumpster. I asked to see their IDs, and I expected company IDs? instead they showed me their driver?s licenses. At 9:50, their dumpster arrived, just in time for the old shingles coming down. A timeline of the major milestones of this job is in the next section of this report (((at "casadossarli.wordpress.com"))). The first day went on without a problem. There were indeed boards that needed to be replaced. The boards across the roof were mostly in decent situation, but not as good as I expected, so there were more replacements than I anticipated. At the beginning of the second day (December 2nd), when the shingles and some boards were removed from the sunroom, we found water damage. Apparently, the snowy winter last year caused more damages than I expected around the skylights. There was water leaking in through the skylights, and a carpenter would have to address the rotten wood. Unfortunately, I had to call my insurance and proceed with the correction of the problem. In the meantime, I had to suspend the roofing services until that problem was solved. Ranch roofing took this change of plans very well ? better than I expected. They protected the sunroom with paper and tarp, re-located their materials to another place in my driveway, and waited for me and/or my insurance to fix the problem. Their services were on hold starting December 3rd. From December 3rd to December 19th, they did not work at my house. Their temporary fix with worked very well protecting the sunroom. There were a few light rains, at least one heave rain, and two or more days of strong winds ? not a problem for the sunroom. Even the carpentry work (four days of work) was not a problem ? the protection was easy to peel off in the morning and staple back again in the afternoon. On December 14th, Wednesday, I called them back, and informed that the fixing of the wood problems was completed, and I was ready to have them back to complete the job. On December 19th, Monday, they were back with a smaller crew, probably because the area of work was now smaller as well. On December 19th and 20th they completed the roof, and performed a pretty thorough clean-up. Finally, on the December 21st, the heat cables of the South side were re-installed? and I must admit it is Much Better than before. The whole team was very well mannered, and very careful with the house. There were many tarps placed in many locations, and in several instances they actually surprised me with their care. At the end of every day, they made a decent clean-up around the house.
Description of Work: The house: This is a standard split entry, built in the 50’s, with a sunroom addition in 1989. At the time of that addition, a second layer of shingles was laid over the roof, matching the then-new shingles of the sunroom. (((Complete report is posted at "casadossarli.wordpress.com"))) The house is in a wooded area in Massachusetts, and is aligned so that we have a nice south view on the back of the house, and a shaded north side entrance. There were a few indications that we needed a new roof – the moss on the north side was not too bad, shingles were somewhat brittle but none had fallen, and we didn’t have any leaks until 2010. The snowy winter in 2007/2008 made me put heating cables, and they worked nicely – no ice dams for 3 years. In 2010/2011, with several heavy snow days, I ended up having a few ice dams and a couple of leaks – nothing major. The roof did look old and beaten-up, and given its age, we started looking for a roofer. We (the residents) are a couple of Engineers – a Chemical and a Civil. In my previous life (before moving to the US), I worked some 10 years in construction, executing industrial renovations. I am very aware, and a firm believer in this simple law: In any renovation, the only things you know are where and when it starts… Nobody knows where and when it ends, or how much it will cost. Scope of services Most estimates had a line detailing how they would deal with roofing boards that needed replacement. They usually had an amount of boards they would replace without additional costs, and then they would show how much they would charge per unit if we needed more boards changed. For my evaluation, I assumed I’d need 30ft² (2 or 3 boards). We have 2 skylights in the sunroom, and they were 20+ years old too. Two (out of the selected 9) companies included replacing the skylights in their estimate. For my evaluation, I did not plan to replace them. I did not want to change gutters – some companies said I’d have to change them. The house does have venting in the overhangs, but some estimates charged me for replacing all overhangs, so they could “add” ventilation. The roof did not have ridge-vents, and some estimates did not add the ridge-vents in them. Most companies did not charge me for taking the existing heat-cables off, and then re-installing them. I made it clear I wanted these cables back in there. (((Complete report is posted at "casadossarli.wordpress.com")))

Good sales engagement and they were very up front with the deal, pricing, etc. Honest approach sold me on them and they followed through on this with all aspects of the job. Bob, the guy that runs the company, is probably the most honest contractor I've dealt with in any trade (we've had a lot of work done on the house). Here's a guy who really cares about the quality of the work they do and the level of customer satisfaction he gets. From the first meeting I felt like they would do what they said they would do, wouldn't cut corners, and would pay a lot of attention to the customer - - this was all all true throughout and after the job. In new england we have very variable weather, so the exact date of the job would naturally depend on the weather that day - - can't roof in the rain for example. During the run-up to the job, Ranch stayed in close touch and followed-up through e-mail and phone several times to first give a week, then an exact day for the job. They confirmed the job, explained they would be delivering a dumpster, and a few other details of the job. Then they showed up exactly on the day and at the time they said they would. I loved it !! The job went very smoothly and I had a chance to watch the crew do the first hour or so of work. They were good about using tarps to cover my bushes and careful around my freshly painted house exterior. They worked very efficiently and I could see from watching them that this was NOT a pickup crew, but a quality professional roofing crew that had worked together often. Brian, the project manager, led the way up the ladder and ran the project from the ridge of the roof ( I've seen a lot of other roofers doing jobs in the neighborhood running projects from the front yard or the car which doesn't impress me at all). Since our roof was older, we expected to be replacing some older plywood on the roof and I was happy Ranch could provide this service. We had to replace some sheets and they used quality exterior plywood for the replacements. Since our older roof did not have a ridge vent, we needed to put one in which required a little bit of work on the ridge of the house. Ranch did a great job installing this detail. A feature of their work is very good edge treatment on ALL edges of the roof and this was a particular reason I chose them over other less expensive roofers. They did a great job adding metal drip edges to the SIDEs of the roof - - something most roofers don't do. For my house this was important because we get a lot of wind driven rain from the easy and this really sealed off the edges. I watched them install membrane for ice and water resistance across the lower edge and also up the sides - - again, much better materials than most roofers use, especially for the side treatments. They finished up the job and when I got home from work they had done such a great job cleaning up, I was not even able to tell a crew of 7 guys had come over, redone the roof, and left. There wasn't anything laying around or left over. Awesome !! We're going to do the final section of the roof this spring, and I've already told the Ranch guys they have the job. This is a VERY impressive company. Sometimes roofers can be hard to choose because it's hard to tell why they are good. My experience with Ranch is this is a PROFESSIONAL SERVICES company that does roofing. They do it very well. And they do it with exceptional customer service and honesty. I've gone out of my way to recommend Ranch to friends and neighbors based on this great experience.
Description of Work: I asked Ranch to replace part of the roof on a portion of the house. The other part of the house had recently had a renovation and already had a newer roof, so it was time to update the older portion of the house. I liked Ranch's overall approach, especially the technique they've developed to treat the edges of the roof to make them absolutely ice dam resistant using modern membrane and an special edging technique - - as far as I can tell from looking at a lot of roofers, Ranch is the only company to do this. They also have a rigid ridge vent system that seems much better than the traditional soft material style vent and I liked the idea that it was resistant to clogging. The other important part of the job for me was to make sure the work matched the other part of the house and looked good. Ranch did the entire job quickly and very efficiently. They did exactly what they said they would do in the contract and the work quality was exceptionally good.

After the verbal estimate was provided, the company promised to provide an estimate via email. We thought this was unusual, as other contractors had provided us with written forms. Unfortunately the company had sent the estimate to the wrong email address, so we didn't get it. This has since been corrected and the estimate has arrived.
Description of Work: The company promptly sent out a representative to perform an estimate. Measurements were taken and an appraisal was provided.

Ranch roofing was very responsive early on, very professional on providing estimates even sending somebody over to measure and show us samples. When we called to discuss financing. It became increasingly difficult to get callbacks. I am difficult to reach myself sometimes due to the nature of my job. But I did ask if there was a specific time we could discuss and never had calls returned. I ended up going with another company, but based on the Angies list ratings I would have liked to have gone with Ranch.

It went very smoothly from beginning to end. At one point there were 13 men working. That had the roofing finished in one and a half days.Three more men came to do the repair work. Ryan was excellent in keeping us posted on the progress of the roofing and also concerning getting the repair work done expertly. The crew that stripped and tiled were excellent. Rodregos was in charge of the main crew and kept the job going very quickly and smoothly. They did an outstanding job in cleaning up. In fact the gardens in front of the house were much cleaner (of leaves etc) than when they first came. This was true in the back also. Knowing the repair would be difficult and did take some time we were surprised that the total cost was much less than we expected. (The cost of repair had not be included in the estimate as they did not know what they would find). I just wish there was a way to give a blue ribbon to each of the crew that made this roofing job a great experience for us.
Description of Work: If ever it was a pleasure to have a difficult job a pleasant experience Ranch Roofing did just that. Beginning with John who gave the estimate doing an excellent job in the details of the roofing procedure and materials. The house is 100 years old so new wood was needed in the attic. The roofing included the main roof, front porch, and two smaller roofs on the side and back of the house. The crew came at 7 and had the roof stripped in about three hours and that included one side of the roof was doubled tiled. Some of the under boards were replaced before the next steps. The crew worked until it was very dark. I not sure I have ever seen people work this hard. Ryan was the overall manager and a pleasure to work with. We had a serious rot problem from ice damage. Ryan made trips to a special lumber yard to get the correct type of wood to complete the repair. The repair turned out to be more difficult than expected so another carpenter crew came the next day to complete the repairs which included replacing part of the wooden gutter and the decorative facing board extending from the roof. Ryan worked very hard to cut and replace the damaged board. The damage did go deeper into the roof so the second crew came to finish and replace rotted wood (gutter etc). and completed the job by priming the new wood.

The crew performed the work itself with expertise, industriousness, and courtesy. The first day they and Bob, who supervised the job intermittently, determined that the slant and height of the condo roof made the work too precarious to perform from outside. Instead, they built scaffolding and did the work inside. Because the original contract had not included interior work, Bob added $500 to the cost, an amount that I agreed was fair. They moved or covered my living room furniture and were careful throughout to protect my things and afterwards to clean up. The multi-level frames that they designed and built around the new windows blend seamlessly with the old frames, and they completed the job by painting the new woodwork. They worked with the electrician I hired to install the wiring, and the windows open smoothly by remote control. They have stood up perfectly to the recent storms: not a drop leaked. The main problem was with the protracted process of scheduling the job and of making contact with Bob before and during the week that it took. Part of the reason was not their fault: rain kept disrupting the schedule. On the other hand, a more efficient means of communication would have helped--the office number nearly always went to voice mail, and often neither emails nor phone messages were returned for some time. Near the end, Bob gave me his cell number, and talking directly to him rather than going through the receptionist made all the difference. Still, the skylights look great, and I would definitely recommend this company highly.
Description of Work: Bob O'Sullivan and his crew replaced two mechanically operated Velux skylights in my condo living room with their equivalent electronic models. The job was complicated by the height of the windows--I have twenty-foot ceilings--and by the fact that the largest electronic models Velux makes are six to eight inches smaller on a side than the mechanically opened ones. The job involved building a frame around each new skylight and fitting it tightly, all fifteen feet off the floor. Also, the roof of the condo is slate, and removing and replacing the roof tiles was also an exacting and difficult job.

Today is Nov. 8th and Ranch Roofing has just finished my roof. I don't even know where to begin. I have never met such a professional crew that Bob O'Sullivan has working for him. From the initial visit with John who explained everything in detail and describing the quality of products that they use. The team showed up prompt at 7a.m. and that's when I met Bob O'Sullivan and Ryan. They are incredible. Explaining every- thing in detail step by step exactly what is going to be done. I just can't say enough about Ranch Roofing. This team and Bob O' Sullivan as far as I am concerned are beyond Number 1 in quality, efficiency, and professionionalism. I have left out so many details about this superior company because I will just keep going on and on how great they are, UNBELIEVABLE..... You wouldn't believe the meticuious job they did on the clean-up. I would just like to say, Thank you and I am one satisfied customer. Your the BEST!!!!!!!!!

Since Ranch roofing was so highly rated, I had very high expectations for their work. I was pleased and amazed that their work far exceed my expectations. Ryan, the Project manager arrived right on time and reviewed the work to be performed. He made a number of helpful suggestions for things that I had overlooked (eg, the color of the drip edge). He also inspected the attic to confirm that I did not need baffles for the button vents. A short time later, foreman Wellington and the crew arrived and worked out the details of how the old roofing material could be brought down to the ground without damaging the front garden or the back deck. All of the Ranch personnel were extremely professional in their work and were very friendly in answering my (many) questions. By mid-afternoon the roofing work was completed (the button vents were installed the next day). The care taken in moving the old shingles into the trash bin and cleaing up at the end of the day was incredible. After they left you couldn't tell that so much work had taken place on and around the house. In summary, Ranch did a magnificent job. I give them my highest commendation.
Description of Work: Stripped the roof of two layers of shingles and then installed new shingles. The chimney lead was replace and a ridge vent was installed along with 78 button vents. One additional task was correcting a leak where the roof of the covered deck was attached to the house. This involved removing clapboards, installing ice shield and aluminum flashing and then reinstalling and painting the clapboards.

The experience went very well. From the initial visit to the final clean-up, Ranch Roofing was very responsible and professional. The salesman covered everything in the initial visit and quote, describing in detail the type and quality of the products they used. The final price was very close to the quote. the main add-on was the replacement of the fascia and rafters, which in all honestly, we didn't mention in the initial visit of the salesman. But during the roofing, they explained the situation with the fascia boards exactly as someone else (it was an aniaml control specialist who told us) had explained it to us. So it was pretty much a no brainer to have them do the job (it would have to be done at some point anyway). We were originally told the job would take 2 days (1 day to strip the old roof, 1 day to put on the new one). They actually did the job in less than a total work day, and that was even start later than normal because it was raining in the morning! By early evening, the new roof was mostly on, and the only work for the next day was fixing the fascia board, and cleaning up. Speaking of cleaning up, they did a phenomenal job! Very impressive overall.
Description of Work: Our roof was old and needed replacing. In addition, some of our fascia boards and rafter connecting to them were also rotted and needed replacing (we knew about the fascia board and rafters even before contacting Ranch Roofing). Ranch replaced the roof, installed water/ice shields, installed a ridge vent, repaired our fascia board, flashed and re-pointed the chimney.

The carpenter they recommended did a great job, and we are very satisfied with the results. They changed boards in two different sides of the roof (one that was old, and needed repair before Squirrel and Co decided to move in), and they close the 'door' to my attic.
Description of Work: We called Ranch Roofing to have our roof fixed. A squirrel family decided to move into our attic, and their 'door' was letting rain into our home. Although Ranch Roofing does not do carpentry work, they send me information about a gentleman who could do the repair.

After previously interviewing other roofing companies, I met John, from Ranch Roofing. He provided me with the most information and an extensive description of the work to be performed. He took time to thoroughly measure and estimate the work involved. He gave an incredible presentation of exactly what the process would be and described all the materials, complete with cost comparisons. Not only was his estimate of the work and materials superior, the cost was less that other companies. As a woman I appreciated the fact that John patiently answered all questions, and took time to explain all options. He was professional and I never felt he was a salesman, but someone interested in doing an excellent job and making sure all my questions were answered. He was always available on his cell phone and always returned calls. Through his efforts the job was organized, custom work investigated and finalized and the date chosen. The work began on the day they said it would. The team was incredible and so skilled the work was done in a day's time to perfection. They were probably the most competent and hardworking of anyone I have ever had on home projects. They were careful of the grounds and of accessibility while the work was in progress. The excellence continued during the meticulous clean-up. Actually, it looked like nothing had ever happened, except for a beautiful new roof! It is a pleasure to recommend Ranch Roofing and to assure complete satisfaction, regardless of the task. Their attention to details and considerate manner from John, Bob and the crew sets an example for the contracting world. A BIG THANK YOU!!!
Description of Work: Ranch Roofing replaced old shingles on my steep carriage house roof, installed a custom skylight and another skylight n a small difficult space. They re-leaded a large chimney, installed new roof flanges on vent pipes, replaced trimwork and installed superior materials for the water and ice edge, Feltex, and drip edges as well as high quality shingles with a 25 year guarantee. They came early and stayed until the work was completed in one day.

Bob and his team are hands-down the BEST contractors I have ever worked with. Period. From the initial consultation -- a great education experience on the exact process and materials they use, and why, including considerations on reading through other estimates -- to the quality and efficiency with which they did the work, to the immaculate job the team did in cleaning up the house and grounds, they were simply fabulous. Indeed, I found their clean-up process jaw-dropping-- it looked like my lawn had been vacuumed! Everything - from the driveway to the yard to the walkways - were swept clean. Never have I experienced that amount of attention to detail. And I appreciate that, as it is my home. I honestly can not say enough about the team. Throughout the on-site work, I was continually briefed on the progress and shown examples of what they were doing as well as the materials being used. The crew was hardworking and skilled at their trade. I felt respected, completely informed, and fairly and honestly treated. They made a commitment, and met that commitment. I would recommend Ranch without hesitation. Contractors in other trades, from plumbing to electrical to general contracting, could take a lesson from Ranch. They take pride in their work, they conduct their business with integrity, they take care of your property, and they treat customers like customers should be treated. Bravo, Ranch!
Description of Work: Ranch Roofing/Renovations replaced the roof on my 1870 Victorian, taking off the existing 3 layers. They replaced original roof boards, put on a new roof, re-leaded the chimney, replaced gutters and downspouts, and replaced trimwork.

I found Ranch Roofing/Renovations (not quite sure what name they are going by) on Angie's list and called them for an estimate. The called back fairly quickly and stopped by the house to give me an estimate which seemed in line with other prices that I was getting. It was a fairly small job (1 day), so it took them a while to schedule the work (about a month). They called on a Thursday to say that they were coming out the next day (I didn't happen to be home). When I got home and checked, everything was great. They cleaned up any mess from the old roof and the new shingles look great.
Description of Work: I have a small sun porch and needed the shingles replaced. They were pretty bad (cracked and pieces falling in the yard).

My mother called frustrated and upset about the man who came to inspect the damage and give an estimate. She said he was patronizing, condescending and very pushy. She said he was pressuring her to sign a contact for the work without sufficiently answering her questions. She felt he was a "salesman". 9/22/2011 Update. On Wednesday evening, September 21, Bob o'Sullivan called me and apologized for the experience my mother had with Ranch Roofing representative. He left badly about what happened and what to apologize to my mother and "take care of whatever she needed done". I accepted his apology and gave him her telephone number. Shortly, he called me back and told me she had already decided to go with another company but still wished to make things right. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me if I needed anything done - her house, my house - to call him directly. He thanked me for accepting his apology. On the basis of his second attempt to make a first impression, I updated my rating to a "B". And felt, given the opportunity, he would have bent over backwards to make this right. I would recommend giving them another try based upon the past reports and current grade. His response to a bad customer experience is refreshing and greatly appreciated.
Description of Work: My mother's roof sustained damage from the storm that was Hurrican Irene. I recommended she contact Ranch Roofing based on the company's grade and reports.

We have a very large house with regular roofing, a turret and flat roof areas. We went with rubber roofing on the flat roof areas even though I was very concerned about potential for leaks if laid improperly. Bob answered all my questions and gave me options. Our original start date was actually moved up a couple of days, which was fine with me. They brought in a big crew. Everyone was very polite and seemed to know exactly what their task was. They finished in a couple of days and were meticulous about clean up. I'm very happy with the job they did, especially the rubber roof. There was one item they said they'd do for me that I forgot to check prior to final payment. They had forgotten to do it. I didn't call them about it, but they sent someone out the next day to finish it. I was impressed. They weren't my cheapest estimate, or the most expensive, but they did quality work with quality materials.
Description of Work: Two layers of old roofing were removed as was rolled roofing from flat roof area. Ice shield was installed 6' up from roof line. Architectural shingles laid. Rubber roof on flat roof was laid, fitted around and sealed where fire escape attached to roof. Wood gutters were assessed and a small section replaced. All debris was hauled away and area was cleaned and swept.

They came on the first team and the crew worked until late the first day. They didn't let up the entire day, but they were done when they finished that evening. The next day they came to do the finish work. They were very fair and very professional and everyone that I dealt with from John the person who came to do the estimate, to the crew chief to the owner were intent on providing a good job. My one piece of advice, after signing the initial contract, I found leaving messages on the main number wasn't particular effective. I received immediate response when I called the person who came to estimate the job.

I liked them because they did not charge a penny more than they said it would cost. They were finished in 2 days, and cleaned up tremendously. The owner was a pleasure to speak/work with & was very assuring. They were very flexable & guarantee their work, I would highly recommend them.

The job they did was excellent and their price was reasonable. They reattached the heating coil wires and their workers were very professional. My only complaint or suggestion to the company is that they get a live phone answerer or answering service. We played a lot of telephone tag. You rarely if ever get them when you call, you get an answering machine. They call you back at the beginning or the end of the day. Be sure to give them a cell phone number where you can be reached directly to avoid telephone tag. While I am very happy with the work performed, the scheduled date did move out a couple of times. Bob the owner is a very personable guy and his crew were equally pleasant to deal with. So if you don't mind the phone situation, I'd definately use them again.
