Very professional pedicure. I went to this salon because I was concerned about cleanliness. Some places don't sterilize after each customer, but this one does. Very nice job overall.

Clean environment, nice and comfortable salon, expertise

My teenage daughter is very anxious about caring for her nails and she had let them get into very ragged condition, so I arranged to take her to Organic Nails for her first manicure/pedicure. They were very gentle and explained the procedure and took good care of her. She let them scrub, trim, and polish her nails. Things went well and we returned 6 weeks later for another mani/pedi. The second time, I also got a pedicure. The $55 price is for a mani/pedi. I like that they sterilize all the equipment and keep things very clean.

The last time I had a pedicure I got a fungal toenail infection so when a friend of mine gave me a flier for The Organic Nail Salon I was extremely interested to see that the owner Cindy specifically indicated that she does not use the whirlpool-type foot baths as they are extremely difficult to keep clean (which I have heard before from other sources and agree with wholeheartedly). The brochure also noted that the metal instruments are sterilized in an autoclave and other instruments are used for one customer only. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The salon itself had been gutted and rebuilt from its previous incarnation as a veterinary clinic and is fresh and spa-like with soft cushoined chairs for the pedicure area and a bar-like table for the manicures. The wax was at a comfortable temperature, not too hot, and Cindy asked me several times how I was holding up. When I had my pedicure Cindy suggested she switch out the sugar scrub with a longer foot massage as my skin would be sensitive from the waxing and potentially irritated from the scrub. I skipped the polish application on my fingernails as I don't normally wear fingernail polish and was given the filing/buffing block and the file that had been used on my nails to take home. Overall the salon was extremely clean, the proprietor pleasant and attentive, and I will definitely be going back. I am really pleased to have found a salon with such an emphasis on hygeine.
