We are absolutely in love with Dermot and his son, Colm. A very highly respected co-worker of mine referred them to us and we have been blown away by their skill, professionalism, design-sense, and work product. My mother and I recently purchased a two family house, knowing that the home had knob and tube wiring that needed to be replaced. Dermot and Colm's work has transformed a house in need of serious updating into a home. In addition to installing nine ceiling fans (each with dimmers), Dermot and Colm advised us about where the home could stand to have more lighting--everyone knows that lighting is the first step to great interior design! When we decided that we needed recessed lights in the kitchen, in addition to a center light, Dermot and Colm were more than happy to take the extra time to install them. Dermot also had the foresight to install updated lighting in our basement, which was very appreciated. We have horse hair walls - Dermot arranged for a plasterer to come and patch our walls. My mother wanted to have some carpentry work done - Dermot provided a great recommendation. My mother likes to say that Dermot more like a general contractor that an electrician because he knows everyone. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, wonderful electrician.
