LEAHY CONTRACTING

I spent a great deal of time getting city permits and approvals to repair my garage. I called Tim and he returned my call immediately, he seemed great. We had a nice conversation and he asked me to send him my plans and assured me he would come look at the garage and give me a quote in 2 days. He committed to an 11am appointment with the possibility that it would change by 1-2 hours. He didn't come and I never heard from him again. I called 3 times and got nothing back, not even a simple " we have too many projects" etc. This says alot about a vendor. His promises delayed my project by 2 weeks now that I am on the search for a new contractor. It is truly disappointing.

Tim Leahy signed a contract and received a $1500 deposit to replace my garage roof. Ultimately, I went with another contractor who was already doing some unrelated work for me.  Mr. Leahy returned the deposit. Because I decided to hire a different contractor, I have no way to evaluate Mr. Leahy's work. 

I am thoroughly upset with them. Not only did he ruin the flashing (which he did repair), but my roof now leaks where it didn't before. He doesn't answer his phone and he has two different phone numbers. It is almost impossible to reach him. I was extremely unhappy with him and his services.

It did take awhile for them to get back with me, however when they did come out they were responsive. They had a very good price. Overall they did a good job. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

If this company could improve their communication in general, especially regarding delays in the work to be performed or just last minute issues arising regarding order of materials/changes in set work dates, they would be perfect and that would really be a significant plus. They were extremely courteous and professional on site and we are very pleased with the end result. Tim is a very nice guy to work with and we wish him only the best in his business.
