 + -1 moreOverall the bathroom looks nice, but dealing with the contractor was a major headache. I had to explain what I wanted several times and never felt comfortable that he understood me. He also told me I was wrong on things that were later shown to be correct. He resisted giving me the details of labor and materials. During demo, a pipe broke and flooded my basement, but he fixed it the same day. He wanted to simply put the new floor tile over the old tile, but I wanted the old tile removed. He told me that if I removed the floor tiles, he wouldn't charge me, but ended up adding $350.00 which could've been resolved with better communication.
Description of Work: Gut rehab of a bathroom. Remove everything including walls & reinstall new tub, sink, radiator, etc. Retile walls and floor. He made a complete mess of my house and yard. He also took his time completing the job when I specifically stated my need to have it done in time for the new tenant to move in. Project took 5 weeks, when other contractors quoted 3 weeks to complete. I ended up doing some of the work myself just to move forward. He was careless about leaving his equipment and garbage in the apartment and damaged the brand new paint job in 3 rooms that I had to touch up. The floor & kitchen were completely covered in dust; some of it won't come out.
