I uses him a number of times over the past years and he's very good. Prompt, he fixed it, and it's been working fine.

Jim Richard is a highly competent and efficient plumber, and also a really nice guy. He unhooked our old oven and repiped the gas supply for a new one to be delivered the next week. He came back and hooked up the new oven and replaced the very old corroded drain pipes under our kitchen sink. All for a reasonable price. Thanks, Jim!

We had numerous shut-off valves (including a variety of valve types) that would leak when we tried to close them. Jim did a great job replacing all of them. When doing the work he saw our faucet lines had a build-up that was preventing water from flowing freely and cleared that up as well. Jim and his assistant did a great job and were on-time and very professional. The final came under his quote, which was a nice surprise.

Jim Richard was fantastic. He called me back within a day, directed me to local suppliers for replacement parts, and was on time and quick with the installation. Everything was done perfectly.

Jim recommended a specific make and model for our household needs. Had minor difficulties trying to fit the whole filtration system under sink area but was able to troubleshoot the problem easily. We first met Jim when he was recommended to us by another plumber when we were having a difficult plumbing issue. Jim is a great troubleshooting for plumbing problems and was able to help solve our problem.

Matt from Jim Richard Plumbing arrived on time and introduced himself. He then took a look at the sink and the plumbing under the counter, and started working on removing the old faucet. This part of the job took quite a while, since all the parts had been in place for almost a quarter-century. After the removal was done, he cleaned the surfaces around the area and also made sure that the soap dispenser (that we had purchased separately) would be a good fit. When he was done, he tested everything, cleaned up and explained some of the paperwork and warranty information. All in all, a polite, friendly young man. A few days later, we began to lose pressure on the hot water setting on the new faucet and our disposal stopped working. I sent a text (on a Sunday evening!) to Jim telling him about the situation, and he responded almost immediately. He said that they could come out the next day to take a look. Well, they came out this afternoon, and inspected the installation. Everything looked fine, but Jim figured that an old washer had probably failed after it had been disturbed after so long. He and Matt basically worked together to check the water heater and they replaced a washer and re-tested- worked fine again! Then, they worked on the disposal which had a piece of string lodged in the blades(embarrassing!). Jim cleaned it out, tested the electricity to be sure it was getting to the motor, and sure enough, got it working. He then showed me a label with an 800 number to call Insinkerator if there was another problem in the future. The overall experience was pleasant, efficient, and very professional. I would absolutely use Jim Richard Plumbing again.

Jim responded to my message on AngiesList right away and entertained all my questions (about the task list I had for him). Garbage disposal installation - $150, Faucet installation - $200, Washer hose replacement - $170 was the original quote. Jim and Matt came down right at the decided time and knocked off all the tasks in little over an hour (1hr 10min). They were very courteous, friendly, professional and efficient. Jim had originally estimated that replacing the rusty hose connected to the washer could be complicated (if they had to cut the hose cap off); however, in the end, he ended up not charging me for the hose replacement since they could get it off very easily! Matt took the time out to explain the features of the garbage disposal and also completed my request of fixing a wobbly kitchen sink faucet (which they again didn't charge for). Over all, an awesome experience! Would definitely hire Jim / Matt for any other plumbing needs and highly recommend them to everyone.

Jim installed two toilets and a diaper spray. I also asked him to look at two faucets. Everything appears to have been done well. Jim also provided helpful advice about where to buy plumbing supplies - which may well save me some hassle in the future. Overall, I was very pleased, and strongly recommend Jim for any of your plumbing needs.

It went well just like I hoped it would. Showed up when he said he would replaced the faucet, cleaned up and left.

Jim and his associate did a wonderful job. They kept me apprised as the project progressed. Took care not to set off smoke alarms while they were soldering pipes near smoke detectors. They left the work area, (a space off my living room), cleaner than it was before they arrived.

He did a good job. He was courteous, and did it quickly and effectively. They were pleasant, and too the old away properly.

Jim was very responsive throughout the project from a first site visit to the quote and the actual installation of the sink. He provided valuable feedback on the type of sink and the faucet and did not insist on his initial proposal for a different setup.

Jim diagnosed the problem immediately, replaced the flush valve and the flush flapper--in other words, rebuilt the faulty parts.

He and an assistant arrived on time and finished the work quickly and efficiently.

He was very helpful, courteous, showed up early , kind enough to provide advice on my frozen kitchen faucet, and I was very pleased with him.

All work has gone well. Jim clearly explained all work, cleaned up after the day's work, and organized the necessary inspections.

Jim was awesome. He was super responsive, on time, and professional. He checked with the manufacturer, came up with 2 options rather than replacing the unit, and suggested starting by replacing the thermostat. It works. Saved me thousands. His replacement option was also lower than 1 other I received. He's my go-to guy now!
