Good people to work with.

I had a good experience with them. They did it on time and when they said they were going to do it. They were clean. The billing was as I expected. The feedback was good and the conversation was good with the vendor. They were great with my tenant. They were professional.

My neighbor has a 3 zone heating system and one of the circulating pumps had to be replaced. After replacing it himself, he had a problem refilling the system and required assistance. I recommended Harris Plumbing, and they sent someone within a couple of hours. Although they did not have to perform any repairs, the repairman identified the problem (which turned out to be a stuck pressure relief valve) which was preventing the system from filling. He also pointed out features of the system that the homeowner had not previously understood and supervised the operation until the heating system was running. My neighbor was relieved and satisfied.
In the past, we have used Harris plumbing for a variety of jobs, from repairing a leaking baseboard radiator to installing a dishwasher. They were the plumbing subcontractors on both our kitchen renovations and a complete renovation of our 2nd floor bathroom. We have always been satisfied with their work and consider them to be and quot;ourand quot; plumbers.

It was great. He arrived when he said. The work only took one day and he recommended good companies to remove the oil tank and line the chimney. Everything went smoothly.

I have used them for decades. They tend to be high in price but it is worth it. Their work is good, and they treat you well. They are one company that I didn't have to look up on Angie's List. They are excellent. What stands out about them, is the job that they always do, their neatness, their professionalism, they don't talk down to you and much more. I haven't hired another plumber for years, because we are so pleased with him.

Proposal was fast and quoted with the breakout pricing we were looking for, knowledgable and helpful on selecting equipment and the Pros and Cons of different systems. Instant Hot Water Heaters went in quickly. Took longer than expected to complete the boiler job, although we were only without hot water for a day and heat for a day. Main problem was the lack of return calls, just did not feel that the communication was good. Work was done a little at a time which was fine until the gaps in work made us believe we might enter the Winter without the replacement boilers. After some pressing calls they showed up in force and got the boilers done in two days. Exhaust pipe was not suported, went from Boiler to wall without a hanger. Exhaust was too short once we had new siding put in place. Call to Harris got the exhaust extended without a hitch.

They were terrific. We had called around and had several bids submitted to replace our old oil boiler with a gas unit. We received several bids that were almost twice what Harris gave us, and none of the plumbers who came impressed us as much as the men with Harris Plumbing. They took their time, measured the entire house to ensure they'd install the correct size, and sat down with my husband to talk over the whole process of installation. Then, once we agreed to have them do the work they were supposed to get the new boiler but the manufacturer said it would be at least 6 weeks before they had the boiler. We were concerned because our old boiler was really dying, but Chris, our plumber, said he would either find a boiler or figure out a way to get our old boiler working until the time that we could get the new equipment. Despite the fact that the new boilers were supposedly unavailable, Chris called around and found a boiler for us right away. Everyone who was at our house for the installation was polite and friendly, and they were patient and welcoming to my husband who was very interested in watching them install the unit and asked several questions which they happily answered. It took them less than a week to get it up and running, plus their price was far and away the best. National Grid had sent a plumber to bid the job, but his bid was much higher, and while he said he could get the job done in two days (Harris took four days) we couldn't be happier with the work Harris did, and we are glad we went with Harris. It was worth it to save several thousands of dollars! We definitely will use them again if we need heating or plumbing services.
