Downing Landscape Service

Well when my wife called to tell him that we did not resign a contract with him, and he became quit angry and rude. He said he was going to send us the bill and threatened my wife by stating he would “track her down for the payment”. Of course we paid the $165 since the service performed, but my wife was quite upset. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN.

It seemed like we were at the bottom of his list so the snow removal did not occur for many hours after the storm ended. More importantly he ruined our lawn. We had to keep asking that he repair it in the Spring, but it wasn’t until early Summer when he got to throwing down some seeds. He did a terrible job repairing the lawn and in the end we had to hire another service in the Fall to repair it properly. If this is any indication of his lawn service then please stay away from him. Needless to say we did not hire him back this winter.

I have used Bill in the past for regular lawn maintenance and used him this year for a major spring clean up as well as mulching all around the house and doing some other lawn work like cutting all of the beds, removing some debris and fertilizing the lawn. As always, Bill was very professional, did a great job on everything and was very nice to my super curious children during the process. I then asked Bill to do a couple other things after the work was completed and he was back out there with a couple of days to finish off the work. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for an odd job done or weekly maintenance through the year.

Mike Downing was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very helpful in material choice, driveway and patio design; garden design. The work was initiated and completed when promised. Exceptional commitment to customer service. Price was competitive.

They do a good job. They used to do the trimming, but we stopped them from doing that because they are so expensive. The quality of the work is excellent.
