This was one of the best experiences in service. Bill answers his phone AMAZING! After a few questions we scheduled the visit - delayed only because I wasn't available the next day. Bill arrived just before appointment time, replaced the lock, gave me the old lock and explained operation of new lock. Recommend his services without hesitation.

the lock broke the day before we were leaving on vacation and he came out promptly and repaired it so we could leave without worrying about it. He was able to simply fix it rather than having to install a new one. He was very professional and courteous. Would definetly recommend.

I found Bill to be extremely reliable and professional. He responded right away when I called, we scheduled an appointment within a few days, Bill know just what needed to be done and the work was performed to my high standard and at a reasonable price.  I would absolutely call Bill with any future locksmith needs.

Bill Carr Locksmith does excellent work.  They are also prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and based locally.  It's especially good to find a legitimate business in an area where 1-800 LOCKSMITH SCAM ARTISTS seem so common.

A key got broken in my old door lock. This lock was a few decades old, and its system was complex and untypical. Other locksmiths asked about $450 for replacing it. Bill managed to install a standard door lock instead for a fraction of that price. I am thankful to Bill and think about asking him to replace our interior door handles.

Bill was excellent. I would definitely hire him again and I would recommend him to others. He came to my house within an hour of my call. He worked very efficiently and he seemed to really know what he was doing. He found the problem right away. He was very professional.

My backdoor lock jammed on a Saturday. Although the business was not open, Bill answered the phone and made an appointment to come on the following Tuesday. This was not an emergency since I could still use the front door. He was early and was able to fix the lock. He was pleasant and professional.

He was great. I recently moved to my house. I got home around 7pm and key got stuck in door. I was not comfortable leaving it there overnight. I had never used his services before; he came that night and fixed things. He replaced not only that lock but the back door one too. That was great so I didn't have to wait at home another day and have him return for the routine job. He did the urgent job and the routine one botht that night. He was personable and responsible. He was very easy to have around--just did the work with no fuss. He charged less than he had quoted over the phone. All round it was a great experience.

I keot a HideAKey hidden in my yard and somebody found it. Discovered this on a Thursday before work. Looked up locksmiths on Angie's List and found Bill Carr who is located in the same town. He came in about an hour and changed 5 locks for me so I could go to work with some peace of mind. Provided two sets of keys for them and kept the same configuration as I already had. Originally I thought I would have to take off the whole day but thanks to Bill I was back at work before noon. Much appreciated.

Bill was prompt and responsive, professional and friendly. I was particularly interested in prompt since my keys had been in questionable hands for about 15 hours. I much appreciated his speedy arrival and easy attitude about doing an immediate re-key so I felt secure. We discussed whether I even needed to purchase a new lock set for the front door (no, I didn't need to) and he offered to return to do the final re-keying, should I decide to get a new lock set, without charging an additional service charge. Ultimately, I chose to get a new front door set and Bill came back to install it and re-key the front and back doors.
He worked quickly and efficiently. He was neat and cleaned up after his work. I was impressed with his green practice of collecting all the metal that was no longer useful to anyone and recycling it. He took the time to explain to me how to loosen the hardware later, should I want to re-paint the door.
He's my locksmith now even though I hope to never have to call him! I will happily refer him to others.

I called him to come change my locks on my house because my car and car keys got stolen with my house keys on it and my registration in the car. I called a local locksmith who charged me $500 and did a bad job. I called Bill the next day and he came by and changed my locks. I have recommended him to several people already.

He is very steady, timely, and reliable. I keep his card handy whenever I inevitably lock myself out!

I recently moved into a new apartment. There are two apartments in this building and both had issues with the doors not staying shut (the lock wasn't catching on the door frame). We also had a back door with locks on it but neither of us had a key for those locks. I had a bolt that worked from the inside but, again, had no key.

He arrived in a van with his name on it, rang the doorbell, came in and handed me his card. I took him through the various issues and he set straight to work. My neighbor came home and also solicited his help with her door. Between us, we kept him working for two hours. He did a tremendous amount in those two hours and now I feel safe, secure and comfortable in the new space.

Very prompt, did a great job. We had made the appointment a few days in advance, before we knew the weather forecast, and despite the snow that day, he came out anyway (even though I told him we could re-schedule). I was very impressed.

Bill picked up when I called and was able to come as soon as the next day. When another job was running long, he called me well before his scheduled arrival to let me know, and he was on target with the new time. When he arrived, he gave me his card, assessed the two locks and got right to work. I liked that he was professional, not sales-y, and did the work promptly and well, and for a good price.

Bill called me back right away, arrived 10 mins early for the service. Was very personable, efficient, and really great professional.
