AUDIO PLUS

CD player suddenly stopped seeing discs; tried with several different ones. Took the player in, paid the examination fee (which would have been deducted from any additional repair costs), and left. They called within a few days to say that the player had a terminal problem that had occurred with many of this particular model. Were willing to provide documentation. It could not be repaired. They offered to recycle it free of charge, and I agreed.

On time; offered to redo if any problems.

Great. Made an appointment to do the work during the day. Called with a question. Estimated time correctly. Gave me instructions about what to do to get the radio activated. Tip that the info book gave another dial location to connect than was correct. Showed me the work in the car.

Excellent. Jim's a really good guy. I set up an 8am appointment today & he was done by 9am. He'd mentioned when I was making the appointment to buy the install kit, wire harness before coming in as I could save some money buying these online somewhere.

The repair was successful and completed near the end of the estimated time range. Customer service was good, and the people were understanding, not condescending, when I brought it back mistakenly thinking the repair hadn't worked. Actually, there was a problem with how I had fastened some wires when I got back home. They didn't charge me for the time they spent retesting it, and they didn't make me feel stupid. :-)

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

THE COMPANY IS ONE OF THE FEW LEFT THAT REPAIR OLDER MODELS OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT. (ALSO ONE OF THE FEW THAT MAKE HOUSE CALLS.) GRUNDIG, PHILLIPS, KLH, TO NAME A FEW. CHARLIE HAS WORKED THERE FOR OVER 30 YEARS, JIMMY FOR OVER 20 YEARS. THEY ARE TRUE AUDIOPHILES AND KNOW ALL ABOUT QUALITY SOUND! VERY INFORMATIVE AND FRIENDLY GUYS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
