Arlington Plumbing knows their business. They very accurately evaluated my OLD boiler and piping, and then repaired the failing parts very well and quickly. I will not hesitate to call them again. It was refreshing to see a competent and pleasant person willing to repair an older system instead of overselling one of the expensive, maintenance intensive, and overly electronic new systems.

I originally called Roto-Rooter to come out and clear a very slow drain, which it turned out they could not do. After they left I tried plunging out the drain and immediately got a call from our downstairs neighbor saying that water was pouring into the room just below my bathroom. Roto-Rooter refused to come back and fix the problem, so I called Arlington Plumbing, Inc. who had done a previous emergency job for me a few years previously. Steve came out and dug into the plumbing and found a plumbing connection that had broken due to its age, and likely when I used the plunger. He replaced the broken connector and snaked out the drain in short time and only charged 2/3 of what Roto-Rooter wanted to charge to snake out the drain. Two days later I am still waiting to hear back from the Roto-Rooter management after my last call to them.

He picked up the 2 new hot water heaters, did the plumbing work, and removed the old ones. The work was professional and hassle free. He even helped me get money back for one of the water heaters that he thought should have lasted longer. Plumbers seem too expensive to me so I may not be a good judge of his cost relative to others but it didn't seem much different from what I expected.

STEPHEN CAME TO OUR HOUSE ONLY A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATE (<15 MIN), WHICH WAS FINE SINCE A NEIGHBOR HAD ACTUALLY SET THE APPOINTMENT UP FOR US! HE WAS QUIET BUT VERY PLEASANT, AND WAS CAREFUL IN DOING HIS WORK (DOUBLE-CHECKING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE REPLACEMENT THERMOCOUPLE), AND CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS COMPLETE. THIS, PLUS A VERY FAVORABLE RATING FROM THE NEIGHBOR (WHO IS A CONTRACTOR HIMSELF) MAKES STEPHEN OUR REGULAR PLUMBER.
