I found our loan processor to be a bit snippy at times. She'd be friendly on the phone, but had an "edge" to her, and could be difficult to deal with. Our loan underwriter was the one who signed the commitment letter at the lower rate. At one point I phoned her about something, and she never returned my call. Very poor customer service. My original loan officer (an Asst. Vice President I think) was very nice, and would get back to me pretty fast when I called. He claimed he had no idea about my interest rate being increased, and he did apologize on behalf of the company, but the fact of the matter is that the company should have found a way to honor their original commitment letter, and if that was not possible they should have notified us immediately. Their lack of courtesy to notify us in advance gives the appearance that they are trying to hide something. I would stay away from this company at all costs.
