Cooper Bros Asphalt Paving

The condominium parking lots were originally built in 1973 and had been patched and re-patched as gas lines were run over the years and so on. We had puddles in many places and it just looked like a sorry mess.
We had several paving contractors come over and measure out all our needs, but Howard Cooper was just a stand-out in terms of his professionalism. He came when he said he would, efficiently measured out everything and got back to us with his price right away. This shouldn't be exceptional, but it was. He came in with a good price and is a local company for us, so he was our choice.
We are thrilled! The crew was incredible to watch. They were like a hive of busy bees out there. Everyone was working and appeared to know exactly what they were doing at all times. This was a large crew of guys, 12 or so, with giant machines and it all ran like clockwork! To a man the crew was polite, smiling, enthusiastic and responsive.
The work looks amazing! The asphalt walkways we had were cracked in many places and the new ones are not, of course, but our old walkways had a raw, unfinished edge. That's what we expected for the new ones. But Cooper Brothers shaped the edges of our walkways with a nice, finished edge! Same all around our parking lots! We are so pleased with how it all looks.
We will highly recommend Cooper Brothers Paving for their work ethic as well as their beautiful finished product.

could not have been worse

We liked what they did. They were very professional. They did what they said they would do. They were clean and punctual. Their price was reasonable. I would rate them high overall.

They were neat punctual and did a great job laying the asphalt at the base of a rock retaining wall by hand.  They left detailed instructions on how to maintain and proling the life of the driveway. The driveway now drains well due to the regrading.

It is too eartly to comment on how well the driveway holds up and if pot holes develop.  We have a one year warranty.  So far I am happy with the price and the quality of the work.

We saw Cooper Bothers working on a neighbors driveway and approched them to ask for a quote.  We had recceived recentr quotes from otehr companies.  They came in a few hundered dollars cheaper and included the regrading of the driveway.  One important note.  We approched them the day they were ripping up the neighbors driveway.  They did no already the loadof asphalt with them. They quoted the job same day and so when they arrivedw with the load of asphalt they had the appropriate amount for each driveway.

9/17/2012 Update:   I just downgraded the overall grade due to the following:  We had come divets appear in the paving over the past summer, when people turn their wheels when statiionary ( versus moving). We have contacted Coope Brothers several times to repair it and have had no response from them
