Carpet Cleaning
Was given an estimate of between $800-$1100 to remove and replace carpet, (including cleanup and removal of old carpet) in one room. Vendor was told that we wanted to keep it at the $800 level. He dropped off 3 sample books and never told us that there was a difference in price or quality so we assumed the samples were for the $800 quote. Image our surprise when we got a bill for $1900! When we complained about the price, he stated that none of the samples he showed us could be done for the $800. That if we wanted a cheap carpet like that we should have gone to Home Depot! He never removed the old carpet and we needed to hire another company to throw it away.
