Paul's Service is absolutely the best. I had a leak in my central AC system. My other HVAC service provider was content to recharge th system every other year and charge me an outrageous amount for doing so without ever looking for the leak. When I asked the other vendor to look for the leak he told me it was almsot impossible to find AC leaks, but he would be happy to sell me three new AC compressors for $12,500.
I called Paul's and explained my problem. PJ got right back to me and said he'd come right out and have a look. PJ spent just under an hour, found the leak and fixed it. He did not charge me for the visit. I will definately call Paul's for all my HVAC work in the future.

We used Paul's 11 years ago to install our Central Air. Due to an accident a few weeks ago our condenser was ruined so we had to replace it. In addition, we added a few new features such as a Heat Pump, Media Filter, and Two-Zone Board. We received estimates from a number of companies. Paul's was extremely reasonable compared to the many of the other estimates. We had a great experience with the company 11 years ago and the price was right so it was a no brainer that we would use Paul's again.
PJ showed up exactly when he said he would. He finished exactly when he said he would and we love our new system. PJ made sure we had a number of estimates on all of the features we were looking for so that we had options. He helped us pick the best system based on our needs and price range and did not try to sell us something more than what we needed.
I would highly recommend Paul's Service for any Cooling or Heating needs. PJ is honest, hardworking, and 100% reliable.

I have an an addition that is insulated, but consists of 6 sliding glass doors and a 10' ceiling which makes it very difficult to heat especially when the temperatures are in the single digits. The current system in the room needed to be replaced. It was being heated by 2 floor units on the inside wall that were connected to my oil burner. Not wanting to just get a quote from my oil company only I found "Home Advisor" in the yellow pages for a list of HVAC companies that they recommended. When I called I explained to Paul that since I am the one making this decision I was having to rely on his honesty and integrity and it was very important that he be honest and fair. He said he could replace the units that were currently in the room, but they would be smaller and it would require some carpentry, plus they were not considered energy efficient. Paul recommended the Mitsubishi units that were heating/cooling units combined. He also mentioned the cost would be considerably more because I would also be getting air conditioning. I couldn't have stressed the fact that the room was basically all glass and I would need a unit that would be able to handle the very cold weather many times. He took measurements and also took into consideration that there was only a 4' foundation under the room. Paul gave me a rough estimate on the spot and said he would get back to me promptly with a final figure as soon as he checked on the price of the unit. Paul also mentioned that because it was considered energy-efficient he felt that I would be able to receive compensation from my electric company and filled out the necessary papers for me to submit. After the installation the unit did not seem to be working and I called Paul and he came out and after going over the whole installation he found that there was a problem with a valve which he replaced. He apologized several times and came out numerous times to check the unit and called me regularly for several weeks. He will be in touch when the warm weather arrives to make sure the cooling system is working properly and offer any advice I might need. In all my years I have never had anyone give me that kind of customer service. NOTE: Paul explained that because Mitsubishi regularly makes improvements and changes on these units he has to take classes to keep up with the changes.

Unlike my regular plumber/HVAC guy (who I won't be calling again), PJ called me back promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. They were prompt and fixed our AC after it stopped working in 90 degree heat. I asked PJ to take a look at the oil furnace. When he couldn't immediately figure out the problem, he said it would be better to send one of his oil techs or have the oil company service the furnace. He could have used that as an opportunity to overcharge, but he was honest about it. In addition, there was some low-hanging duct work that I asked him to look at. He cleaned it up so that we could replace it ourselves. He even wrote down exactly what we needed, which was only one piece. Again, he could have used that as an opportunity to charge me more, but didn't.
We just bought our house and it's been a struggle to get plumbers, contractors, etc. to call back, let alone show-up. I figured we'd be without AC for at least 3 or 4 days during a 90 degree heat wave until we found someone that could come out. The fact that PJ returned my call the same day was a big win in and of itself. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and I plan to use Paul's in the future.

I bought a house that needed a some work. And like most DIYER'S I was going to do it slowly. So I was in the process of a bathroom remodel and found out I had no insulation in any of my walls and attic. So my wife and I decieded to check out the other rooms. Sure enough we had no insulation and where there was some it was poorly added somewhere down the line. So we called out and decided to go FOAM. But before we could foam we needed to do A/C or else they would never be able to get the HVAC pipes in. So this is where it begins.
As many consumers I did what everyone does and got serveral different estimates to keep the consumer (ME) safe. So I called out and got 4 estimates and they came in all over the place. Paul was the 2nd estimate but he was the only one that was able to give me an estimate on the spot which I liked. He knew his stuff and was confident enough to tell me than. So Paul started as soon as he could. We figured out a plan and went with it. I have no attic due to the house being a cape style home and the house is on a slab which meant it was going to be tight and had to be creative. With Paul everytime there was a hiccup whether it was something was in the way or we had to relocate he would call me and keep me updated which was nice cuz that kept things where I wanted them and kept my remodel clean.
Its still early due to the weather to be turning on the system but overall the placement and the running of pipes I couldn't be happier. If I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate to give Paul a call again.
