He is very honest. He specializes in my specific type of vehicle, and I find a great deal of comfort in that.

The person at Wooding's was lovely and very apologetic that he had to charge me for the checkup. I was happy to pay the fee, knowing that everything had been checked out and was safe. And, I learned a lesson about closing my gas cap.

Extremely responsive and got my car in quick.  Half the labor cost of my Audi dealer.  They finished same day.

Steve the mechanic finished the job on time (within 2 days even though a part needed to be ordered) and gave at a decent price.  (VW's are expensive to repair.)  He called right away to ask about additional work (engine mount) and the estimate was accurate.

Called. New customer. Welcomed my inquiry. Set up appointment in less than one week. Done efficiently. Called me when completed. Explained to me what was done.

No issues scheduling.  I dropped off one morning and picked up the next.  My main issue, which was a suspension problem, was (correctly) diagnosed and they recommended a repair.  I declined the repair based on cost.  They also alerted me to a three other problems I did not know about, one of which I had them repair and the other two I dealt with later.  They were very accommodating and recommended a good shop for the one repair they could not do.

I recommend Wooding's very highly. It went smoothly, start to finish. I will definitely be going to these guys for all Audi repairs in the future. They were friendly, accommodating, fast and the location is just as convenient as the dealer. They had the parts in stock. I cannot believe I spent so many years paying those exorbitant prices at the dealership. Their quote for this same work was literally more than double what I paid at Wooding's.

Also, I'm pretty sure they work on cars other than Audis and VWs. I would always check them first before taking a car anywhere else.

I've also been over there for other work related to my Audi A4 and found everyone knowledgeable and able to diagnose the problems and communicate well on which fix was needed. 

This was way less expensive than the dealerships. They are able to do a good diagnosis and call you to let know cost and what needs to be done. They outperformed and were less expensive than local dealers.

My 2003 volkswagen required a 40,000 mile full check up.  I also complained about my car being noisy when stopped at a light.  They did the check up and checked on the noisiness.  They called me back and said they couldn't find anything obvious that was causing the noisiness or that was affecting the performance of the car, and that the tune-up should help a bit. I appreciated that they did not just make something up to appease me and charge me extra.  They also were helpful in suggesting future maintenance work that I should get done to upkeep my car. They were very courteous, professional and punctual.  I had used them in the past, and I also appreciated that they suggested I go somewhere else to fix my convertible car top because it was not their expertise.  The place they sent me to ended up being great too. Will definitely be going here again for my volkswagen service.

I take my Golf to Woodings regularly because they specialize in Volkswagens and was walking distance from my former work location. I think they are reasonably priced and do excellent work. So, now that I work much farther away, I have to drop my car off the evening before the appointment and pick it up after they close. That all worked very smoothly. I was given an estimate ($400) and a run-down of what they would be checking on my car. The car was finished in the afternoon, below estimate. They did not perform a couple of jobs, like new brake pads and a leaky gasket, (which a dealer would have replaced) - because neither are a problem right now. I appreciate that because it would have made my bill significantly higher.

They are very knowledgeable about foreign cars, especially Audi?s and BMW?s. They are reasonably priced. They gave me an estimate before the job, which seemed very good. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Excelllent alternative to VW dealer. They are at least as competent, a bit cheaper, and much friendlier than the dealer.

They are extremely reliable and very honest. They always call with estimates before doing anything and have never surprised me with any extra charges. Once they called me back to tell me the job I asked them to do might be under warranty (they were right) and they didn't charge me for anything. I can't recommend them enough. They sometimes take longer for non-urgent jobs (e.g., car ready on Friday instead of Thursday) but it's never been an issue for me. They are usually booked at least a week in advance.

Woodings is a great, straight forward garage. they sometimes took longer than they originally stated, but never by more than 24 hours. Book in advance, they are popular.

I was pleased. I was expecting to pay a lot more. Woodings did not try to repair or replace anything that didn't need replacing. They charge $80/hour for labor.
