I was also assured that I could use 24/7 tech support immediately. However, when I called the number, an automated voice came on, saying that my phone number and contract number were invalid even though I filled out the appropriate registration. Their protection plan is a scam! Do not purchase it. When I called Staples to complain, they gave me the run around. Very disappointing!

I found I either have a great expereinbce or a poor experience there. Nothing in-between! This time was a nightmare. Bought a computer. Used a store coupon (major mistake with their new 'very extra-rigid policy') and a week later the computer went on sale for $20 less. The old 'Staples' (policy) allowed someone to get the price difference back. So I tried to do this. Mistake! Mistake! Mistake! Mistake! Went there and brought to the cashier and was told either use the $25 coupon originally used or get the $20 back. So there goes 'that was easy' commercial to 'good luck, sucker'! Seems like problems the store had with their own coupons made them come down hard on all their policies. No more manager understanding and override, just take it or leave it. So which do I do. I left, disappointed and upset, but kept the better discount of $20. Why they send out these misleading coupons is anyone's (best) guess!!
