No problems at all.  Very well done and would recommend them to others.  They cleaned up well and everything works as expected.  Price was competitive.

The provider was prompt, and very responsive to the concerns of the client. The work area was cleaned and vacuumed at the end of each work day. The job lasted for approximately two weeks. I would give the provider an overall rating of B+ if this category existed. I would readily say that the finished product turned out very well. However, there are some areas that could have used a little more attention and care.

It went smoothly - it couldn't have been a better experience. Right on time and on budget. Steve supplied the scaffolding and tarps, and did not harm any of my bushes. He even went to the library to research the appropriate shade of green for the window frames (for a house of that period). He was able to exactly match the color of the lime mortar.
He even removed the birds' nest that he found in the cavity of the wall.
Steve gave me a quick education about  how to safeguard my house from the elements.  Can't give him enough kudos. I am very guilty of writing a very belated review...

I hired Steve due to his expertise with waterproofing and masonry and I am grateful for his having been able to fix the water problem with use of proper materials and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, he was quite slow with providing the estimate which required several phone calls.  I did appreciate his responsiveness to my requests during the job and his attention to detail with the final presentation.

They didn’t charge me a lot for their services.  They were very good.  I got some other wild bids and theirs was the best.  I would recommend them to the others.  Overall the job they did went pretty well.  Their responsiveness was very good.  They are problem solvers.  So when other things came up, they totally talked about it and they fixed it.  It was a very good experience.  I will use their services again in the future.

We have used Steve several times in the past to install storm windows in two houses.  He is always prompt, courteous, and does high quality work.  We will use him again in a heartbeat.

He's a very nice guy, he charged 200 an hour and I thought that was very reasonable. He is very honest, I would trust the guy. They got the snow off the roof. They are honest, they don't gauge you when they could, he's a nice guy, and he's very knowledgeable.

Wonderful service, very reasonable pricing. Before I called Eastern Waterproofing I obtained estimates from two big basement waterproofing companies. Both companies sent inexperienced sales reps who briefly looked at my basement and announced that waterproofing would cost at least 10,000, regardless of whether I wanted to finish my basement (I don't). Steve from Eastern Waterproofing spent much more time studying my basement and roof gutters. We worked out a waterproofing solution that would prevent flooding, keep things clean and protect our heating system for a much more reasonable price. He also did some minor repairs of cracks in the foundation and a great cleaning job. He and his workers were polite and friendly. He is clearly very experienced.

Steven Lewis was very prompt in all his responses, calling back the next day and arriving at the time he predicted. He and his assistant worked steadily and conscientiously to complete the work. The work around the bulkhead was satisfactory, but the barrier across the path had to be redone, as it didn't block the water as well as expected. Mr. Lewis was very prompt and responsive and returned within a couple of days after we reported the problems. He carefully built up a new barrier and filled in a hole that appeared at the bulkhead where the Perma-Patch barrier had settled a few days after the first work.

Steve was friendly and responsive and honest. It ended up being a little more expensive than I thought, but the scope of the work also expanded a little. The stairs weren't put back perfectly, but in some respects are better than they were before, so I'm fine with it. Very trustworthy, I plan on using Eastern Waterproofing again.

They were very quick to arrive. They first did the gutters, then tested the basement for leaks and found a lot. They then dug a huge hole in the lawn to seal the outside wall of the basement. The work involved three men and took about a week. The style is quite rough and ready but serviceable and they gave me a 10 year warranty on the work.

No one could figure out why our finished basement was flooding during heavy rains. Steve removed the leader and downspout and found out that not only was the downspout filled with old tennis balls (how did that happen?), but he pointed out the fact that the origin of the water was racing on a incremental slope to the basement, than to a clogged underground pipe. Rather than excavate the underground line (which would have cost us lots more), he disassembled the entire 30 feet, from the roof to the basement, provided more appropriate pieces, painted everything, and did a great job cleaning-up after his work.

After a big snow/rain storm, water was leaking through a window sill in our finished basement, soaking the carpet and damaging a section of wallpaper. We panicked, they arrived the following morning. Problem solved within a week. Steve is thoughtful, thorough, and honest. I hope this will be the last time we need him for water in the basement, but he's the one we will call for future problems.

Steven has done a number of jobs around our house and has become our go-to guy for any problems involving water leaks. His team came out immediately (on Christmas Eve!) to inspect the roof after we noticed water stains in our master bedroom ceiling. They took their time installing the roof wire in order to get the proper materials, but then had it done in two days.

This is a small and friendly business. Steve Luis (owner) ran some tests before making a recommendation, which was definitely helpful. A few more issues with our foundations became visible only after starting the initial work. Steve kept us updated at all times. I felt that he was honest and responsive, and could be trusted to choose sensible solutions. As a result, we decided to go in for a larger job than originally envisaged, but I don't regret that at all, and feel that I got my money's worth. Once the work got started, it proceeded rapidly and with few interruptions.

I had a to call a couple times to get them to call me back. He came and he was really nice and seemed experienced. Initially he estimated $1000 for what is a kind of big job. Meantime, I got another estimate from Ronchetti-- this guy gave a more professional appearance, but also quoted $2000. Steve came when he said, did the job when he said he would. He ran into an unforeseen problem with one of the existing cinder block and had to add $150 to the cost. I still thought the cost was pretty cheap. He did say he'd cement over some peeling cement in the stairwell (very small area, like the area of one brick) while he was there, but never did. I asked if he'd add on some pointing in my basement if he could and he said he could do that, but ended up not doing it.

After finding out that our "new house" had unsealed windows, numerous leaks, and a room in the basement that collected water with every storm, I needed a guy who does it all. Luckily I found Steven's team. They were here almost every days for weeks, always polite and professional. Steven really let the house dictate the work and even spoke with my exterior siding inspector to make everything right. In the end, Eastern did a lot more than the original job and made the whole house feel more secure and look better. We have since hired Eastern for other work and recommended his team to friends.

The sellers of my new house had been hiding a basement leak with coats of paint. After Eastern solved the water problem, they tackled the interior of the lower level bedroom. Steven recommended paintable wallpaper to hide the irregularities in the foundation wall. The entire job took about five days and with the help of Steven's brother who is a wallpaper guy, the room looks beautiful.
