 + -1 moreI HAD FORGOTTEN HOW WELL SATISFIED I AM WITH OUR GRAVEL DRIVEWAY (DESPITE INITIAL CONCERNS ABOUT MAINTENANCE, HOW WELL THE PROCESS OF INSTALLATION HAD GONE, AND HOW COMPETITIVE THE PRICE HAD BEEN. (I'VE NOW FORGOTTEN THE COST, BUT DID GET SEVERAL BIDS WHEN IT WAS DONE.) WHEN I CALLED ALL-PRO, THINKING TO ASK THEM TO LEVEL THE DRIVEWAY AND ADD MORE GRAVEL (SINCE IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL WINTERS SINCE THE JOB WAS DONE, THE REP. CAME THE SAME DAY I CALLED, ARRIVED TEN MINUTES EARLY, AND WAS NOT ONLY HELPFUL IN TELLING ME I DIDN'T NEED THE JOB DONE, BUT DIDN'T SEEM TO MIND THAT HE HAD MADE A WASTED TRIP.
Description of Work: SEVERAL YEARS AGO ALL-PRO PAVING REPLACED OUR BROKEN ASPHALT DRIVEWAY WITH A GRAVEL DRIVEWAY WITH BRICK BORDER, AT A VERY REASONABLE COST. RECENTLY, WHEN I THOUGHT I MIGHT NEED TO REPLENISH THE GRAVEL TO EVEN OUT THE DRIVEWAY AND FILL IN SOME BARE SPOTS, I CALLED THE COMPANY. A REP. CAME OUT ON THE SAME DAY, EXAMINED THE DRIVEWAY, EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT CAUSES GRAVEL TO SHIFT, AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS SUFFICIENT GRAVEL ALREADY THERE IF I RAKED IT FROM THE DEEPEST SPOTS EVENLY OVER THE WHOLE AREA. HE SAID THAT I COULD AVOID THE COST OF DELIVERING THE MINIMUM LOAD OF GRAVEL AND WOULD AVOID HAVING EXCESS GRAVEL THAT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO DRIVE IN.
