JOHNNY'S HARDWOOD FLOORS

Had kitchen/dining room refinished. Johnny called and we made time for estimate which he was on time for. First day of job went well. I have an accent piece about a foot in from floor that goes around kitchen/dining area. That's where I was unhappy about. When his crew came in first day, they put the plastic up on doorways so sanding wouldn't get in. But when the did the accent piece, they taped which was good, but feel they took it up too quickly and it bleed into floor in quite a few spots. They didn't ask me to look at it and after showing them the color I wanted, only put one coat of stain on the accent color, so it is lighter than I wanted. I sent Johnny pictures of where the floor had bled and also where the poly/stain ended up all over my woodwork. He did come in and try to fix it, which most of it is fixed, but of course my eye always goes to where it still bled a little, just a little. Had 3 coats of the poly/stain applied to floor only one coat on accent piece. In the end the floors look great, just have to keep my eye away from the bleeding part. Not sure I would use again. Perhaps the bleeding would have happened with anybody not sure, but would absolutely ask that question in future. Price was reasonable

His price was excellent, he did amazing work. I don't think I could have gotten wood floors installed, if I didn't go with him. The person that referred me to him has referred everyone in her family to him. I would highly recommend him. There was a language barrier, but it is workable. The estimate was to have the work done in three days, he had it completed in four, but that was mostly the detail work. He did excellent work and at an excellent price. He is very responsive, whenever you called him, you got him. The price includes labor and materials.
