From my very first interaction over the phone with office manager Vellyn to my meeting with owner Jay Bourgeois to the team of David, Daniel, and Israel, who flawlessly executed a challenging repair job - caused by a careless furniture delivery company - they were a five-star team in every aspect of their work: prompt, professional, attentive to detail, immaculate, efficient, and just plain nice! I cannot stress this strongly enough... if you have a flooring job that needs doing and you go to anyone else, you are making a mistake!!! JJ Hardwood is the absolute best, and it is my true pleasure to recommend them. If every company comported their business like JJ Hardwood does, we would all be much better off -- well, except for the folks who do customer service because there would be no need for them anymore.

The crew arrived on time all three days. Check. The work was done as agreed and contracted. Check. The crew was professional. Check. The agreed upon price was paid. Check. The living room, dining room , stair treads and thresholds were sanded and polyed. I asked for a water based poly because it dries faster, doesn’t yellow as much as it ages and there’s less odor. I was surprised they were able to get out a water stain from my plants. John said they would and he was true to his word. The floors look better than expected.

They were on time each day and workman were very good about clean up. The house was left clean each time they left. In addition there were 6 flights of stairs which were not easy to detail. Exceptional job in all aspects of workmanship and materials.

I hired this company after a neighborhood recommended them to me. They were very professional, neat and did the work in a timely fashion. I needed the entire house refinished and was looking for a certain color that did not exist. They Blended different colors and achieved the color and look that I wanted. I could not be happier and recommend this company to anyone!

I recommend them to anyone needing hardwood floors installed or sanded. I can honestly say .... over the past 10 years I have referred them several times and everyone I referred them to had a positive experience. They are excellent and go above and beyond!

They really do high quality work. They are not intrusive at all, and are very punctual. They answered the phone and called back when needed. Their communication was great. If you want a high quality job done professionally, I wouldn't look anywhere else.
