Jay was willing to give us the contact information for all his vendors so that we would be assured that the money we gave him for the materials for this job went for THIS job, not to pay off other jobs. Jay educated me by providing detailed questions to help detect patterns in any contractor's work and work ethic. He provided his answers. We were free to take these questions to any other contractor and then compare answers. Our civil engineer had worked closely with Jay in the past and that really mattered to us. A good existing work relationship with our civil engineer was one of our top prerequisites in selecting an excavator. Once the job began, Jay kept me involved in the process to the degree I wanted to be. He finished with a detailed inspection of the work performed and a careful explanation of the grading. They finished in 1-1/2 days, right on schedule. Jay had authority, but was always courteous and respectful. The job was planned before work began and executed carefully and thoughtfully. The three men on the job worked very hard. I appreciated their courtesy and respectful distance. Our property looked beautiful when they finished.

The service was excellent! They had to put in a septic system in a difficult spot and it was a pleasure to work with them.
