How did it go, well....fabulous doesn't even come close. I'd say FAR SUPERIOR to any agent in the New England Region. She made us feel as if she was at our beck and call. Anytime of day or night, if we had a question or wanted to see a home, she would be there 10 minutes before us. And believe me, because of our work schedules, we were very often asking her to show us a home in 15 minutes. Most often however, we tried to make an appointment first. She is a very busy woman and says that her husband is happy if she just comes home to have dinner with him! Yeah, this woman is just that good. She is so knowledgeable about problem areas, and "deal-breakers". Joan has been in the business since 1976. She could probably build, plumb, wire, pave and landscape a property herself due to the tremendous knowledge she has. She looked out for us like a guard dog..."don't try to pull a fast one on my clients!" We put her through her paces and she never lagged. We must've looked at 5-12 properties before we found the best one for both of us. Joanie knew when we'd had enough and were frustrated. After one showing she gently suggested we go home and let our minds rest. Finding a home that both of us liked was her goal. She states that it's never a good deal when one or the other partner is not happy with the home. Joanie just about held our hands throughout our first homebuying experience. She attended the purchase and sale, the inspection, the walk through, the final walk through, and the closing with the lawyers. She was never one to let anything go by that was "questionable". She piped right up when something was not clear to us or, to her liking. Honestly, it was as good as having dad or mom along, that's how much trust she earned from us. Parting with her this evening after the closing and her emailing that we had been electronically registered at noon, was like saying goodbye to a family member. Or, a better analogy would be; the babies became fledglings and after a thorough lesson of how to feed and fly by momma bird, flew off to enjoy their own new nest! How can we ever thank you enough Joanie? Let us try to let others know that YOU are by far, the best real estate agent around the Boston MetroWest area. If you can get Joanie, you will feel as if you ARE her only customer. A+++++! 5 Stars, and an invitation to supper in the new house with your husband:)
