Description of Work: They did an amazing job on a complete reconstruction of our backyard. Only negative it took them a while the next season to come back to do a minor repair. | |But overall they came up with a nice design and delivered on time. |They are not the cheapest, but they do great great work. |Definitely would use them again.

 + -1 moreThis company was one of three that we called for an estimate. The other two estimates seemed less expensive at first, but when we looked closer, we realized how much less they were doing and relatively speaking would actually cost more. The designer, Janet, was excellent. I especially liked that she did not just "yes" my ideas and was not afraid to tell me when something would not work. She was so friendly and attentive and just an all around nice person who was also knowledgeable about her business. She checked in on the work and was here when most of the plantings were done. She asked the guys to move plants that were already in - even if just a few inches - to achieve the best look. The men who were planting did so with a smile on their face and total cooperation and friendliness rather than annoyance and irritation as you often get. Mike who managed the hardscaping and the men who built the hardscaping were wonderful, professional, and skilled. Overall, these were people who worked hard to make us happy - without making us feel like we were difficult or annoying. I would highly recommend them for any job - large or small and I would definitely go to them next time. It was such a pleasant couple of months that we were actually sad to see them go and missed seeing them around. When can you actually say that about people who work on your house? Highly recommend!!
Description of Work: Front hardscape and landscape, grading. They put in granite steps, bluestone walkway, and two stone walls as well as two granite posts for lights. They also put in sod, plantings, and cobblestone edging down part of the driveway..

 + -1 moreIt looked nice after it was completed last summer. This is the first spring after the plantings last July- I am waiting for the perennials to come back- some have not - I have already contacted the nursery and I am waiting for a response
Description of Work: Good: Landscape design Written plan Expense breakdown Took time to listen to goal of re-design After my concerns were voiced they made some adjustments to the plan and small adjustments to the price Bad: Expensive Changed design on own- from mix of previous plantings to all perennials Their Initial choice of perennials went against the "wow" factor I was looking for in a perennial border garden Did not use my mature plantings Did not clean up removed plants/shrubs Offered to replant mature plants, then did not Relocated 1 small tree- 12 years old that had been replanted twice before and it died from transplant shock- now >$300 to replace ( no guarantee on transplanted items)

Description of Work: They put in a fabulous patio, which is 30 x 30, for me. Its made of big natural stone and pavers with some granite steps and a fire pit as well. They also installed a seat wall, plants and trees in my yard.

 + -1 moreWE'VE BEEN USING SEOANE'S FOR YEARS. WE'VE PICKED UP YARDS OF MULCH THERE WITH OUR TRUCK. WE'VE BOUGH MANY PERENNIALS THERE AND I'VE FELT THEY WERE VERY HEALTHY. THE STAFF THERE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THIS PAST SUMMER WE PICKED UP MANY CONTAINERS FOR OUR PLANTS AND AFTER RESEARCH I FOUND THEY HAD VERY COMPETITIVE PRICES AND A GREAT SELECTION. THIS PAST SEPT./OCT. WE PICKED UP ALL OUR FALL DECORATIONS. OUR NEIGHBORS LOVE OUR SCARECROW. THEY WILL DEFINITELY BE MY FIRST GARDEN CENTER TO VISIT NEXT SPRING.
