EMERY CONTRACTING

Had to keep calling back. Still waiting for him to come and take out the window he put in (11 months!!) Not the proper window for kitchen. Didn't insulate underneath heating bills soared last winter. Will continue this winter I'm sure. MAYBE he is a great carpenter never saw his work, but definitely a terrible business owner, should have stuck to swinging a hammer. Let me ask you this: if you owned such a business and you had a verified unhappy customer who still owed you a decent check, wouldn't you, for the sake of YOUR business with YOUR own family name on it want to collect and right this wrong?? I know what his answer is.

They did a fantastic job. They even helped my wife bring the groceries!

I called insurance again and they sent out an adjuster who said the roof repair was done poorly. I?m not sure what happened. I sent him information on what the adjuster said about how to fix the roof; he called me and said ?I?m the roofer, I know how to do it!?. That was the last time I heard from him. Since then he's never responded to my calls and wouldn?t pick up the two certified letters that I sent him. I lost the use of one room for about 3 years because the rain would pour in. It cost me $1500 over what the insurance company gave me. He?s done other good work for me, so I don't know what happened, but this was not good work and I had trouble getting him to honor his warranty.
