Jake showed up well within the time promised. He listened to the description of the problem, opened up the machine, and ran it a little to see how it was working. I appreciated that he took our ideas about the problem seriously and was very honest about what would be involved in a possible repair, including the cost, and that the interior condition of the machine could mean that although he could repair it now (and for more than it would cost to buy a new machine) it's likely that something else could go wrong in the near future. It was refreshing to deal with someone who was obviously concerned with making sure his customers were treated honestly and fairly, rather than trying to sell unnecessary services. I would definitely recommend 1st Call Appliance based on our experience with Jake, and I will definitely call them the next time I need appliance repair.

This is my second experience with this company! I'm so very pleased again! I called to have my dryer looked at and they came out the same exact day. The tech was friendly and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Another awesome outcome, dryer is fixed and no problems since. Highly recommend this company!

They showed up at my house extremely quickly. The tech was very polite and courteous. He explained to me that my water inlet valve had cracked. He then replaced the valve for me and i have had no further problems and no leaks! I would highly recommend this company they are very thorough and reasonable.

Showed up first time to diagnose the problem. I reviewed the list in detail of what needed to be repaired. Was told that parts need to be ordered and they would need to return. That was perfectly fine. I scheduled another visit for them to come out (btw they give a 4 hour window for you to sit around and wait). After the technician said he was done I went and reviewed the work. One of the items was still not fixed and I brought that to his attention. He said that it's fine and I just put too much stuff in it and it's weighed down too much. After I pointed out that that was not the case and made him look over it once again he realized that he needed one to order another part because he overlooked it on his initial visit. That was still fine. Another appointment was made. Upon confirmation I asked for a call ahead before their arrival to allow me to plan my day better. They said their policy was that if I don't pick up than they will move on. I assured them that either myself or my nanny will definitely be there and not to reschedule for any reason. Sure enough in day of the visit I missed their call by 7 minutes. I call back and they tell me I have to reschedule for another day and am given anger 4 hour wait window. I pleaded with their manager that I already am paying someone to be present and asked if she could call the driver or do anything to make this appointment happen today. She pretty much just kept repeating the same thing like a broken record that it's too late. I asked to speak to the owner and she outright told me that he doesn't speak to customers...even though he's one of the technicians himself (according to her)...hence I find that hard to believe. She supposedly took my info to pass along to him which of course I'm sure she will do as promised (though I won't hold my breath). So now I'm left with having to pay my nanny yet again to come another day and wait for 4 hours all because the technician failed to order the correct parts the first time and I had the audacity not to pick up my phone immediately when they called to tell me they were on their way. I'm surprised this company is still in business given how they operate. Definitely do not recommend them...unless of course you have time to twiddle your thumbs around while you wait for them patiently by the phone.

"Thank you for your feedback. This repair was sent to us from your home insurance company. We fit you into an already fully booked day, as it was your only day off. We then dealt with your insurance company to get as much covered as possible for you. Unfortunately a 4 hour window may seem long, however we cannot predict how long we will be in a home or in traffic. We gave you a call ahead at your request. We asked that you answer live to confirm you are home. We waited 12 minutes before sending the technician onto another call. When you called back we offered you the next available appointment which was the next morning, which did not fit into your schedule. We then booked another appointment around your schedule for Thursday, January 26th. We are a family owned and operated business and have been for over 40 years. We strive to go above and beyond for all of our customers."

Excellent. The service tech was right on time (window was between 8 and noon and he showed up at 8 on the nose). Did an excellent job and did it quickly. Showed us what he did and showed us the burnt-out part that he replaced.

Technician fixed the problem. I called Monday Evening about 4:30 and they came out 1st thing Tuesday morning! Gentleman was very polite and explained what he had to do to repair the dryer. This company also gives senior discount. I would recommend 1st call appliance

They were excellent! I went on Google and found them. The service charge was much lower than other places I have called. They were efficient and very quick to send an email when they were coming, they called before they came, and afterwards they sent a little survey on how the work went. I will definitely have them again. The price was very good.

Done in 5 minutes.  I had tried the reset button to no avail.  Serviceman showed me another step to take if it jams again and does not respond to the reset button -- to do the same thing he did!
This is the 3rd time I have used them this year -- second appliance.  I am delighted.  They were ready to come out the next day, though we had to reschedule.
