Butlers Floor Works

The oak flooring that we used was reclaimed oak. This flooring comes in a rough form very similar to the side of a barn. They took this wood and proceeded to install a new floor. The work was tedious but the team that James had did a great job. After sanding and varnishing the floor I was totally amazed at how well the floor came out. I have used James several times on different flooring jobs and would use him again. Scheduling sometimes creates an issue but I am a results orientated person and the results were better than I had ever imagined. If pictures are needed I can be emailed thru Angie's list

You have to ride Butlers Floor Works through the job. When you do floors you have to put dowels in to the holes and patch places. You have to do that right before they finish the floor or you have holes still. The really bad thing, on the second job they did for me, I had an absolutely hard deadline because I was having my appliances delivered. They were still a week late despite having 6 to 8 weeks advance notice. They charged me through the nose and then demanded to be paid although they hadn't finished the job. I ended up having to hire somebody else to finish the job. In the meantime they are telling me that their wife is sick and so forth - and my father is dying. So I'm listening to these people telling me their problems and that is why they are not showing up when they are ripping me off and my father is dying. They are a small shop with one crew.

They finished the work about two weeks ago. It took about a week and a half to get the work done. They were really good. The guy we dealt with was really interested in making sure that his customers were satisfied with his work. The price was very reasonable too.
