And they got excited.
The kind of excited I normally see when they realize we are going out for a long hike in the woods or that I am taking them to a burger joint. "OMG! We're going to Disneyland!" That kind of excited.
I am now, officially chopped carrots (I'd say chopped liver, but they like chopped liver.) as I trail them into the clinic and they dance merrily - there is no thought of being a good dog on the leash at the moment, it's just sheer excitement that they are going to get to go to doggie camp for a few days and get spoiled by different people than me and my husband and they will make new doggie friends.
Now Animal Ark likes to give all sorts of shots to animals above and beyond the norm or requirements, and they're not cheap. I can deal with all that because my dogs actually LIKE going to the kennel these days - what better reccomendation can there be?
