Mr DELAHOUSSAYE was the 1st contractor that contacted me when I made a request for services thru Angi. He was very patient, professional and knowledgeable about Breaux Bridge city codes and provided us with sketch design details ahead of schedule when we needed them as he promised. Buddy was energetic to insure we had what we wanted in the design. I believe we went through 7-8 revisions. Since we did not have many ideas, Buddy was able to mix and match to what our final product was. This one was tough due to the dimensions of the lot but Buddy pulled it out...Thanks Buddy

My experience with him is that he has no structural knowledge of buildings. As a designer you must have knowledge of structures in order to design a building in a cost effective ways. From what I seen as his profile on this site, it does not match his knowledge as a designer. He has a program called Cheif architect which he uses to draw plans. Learning how to operate that program doesn't make you a designer. I waisted money on the company. I'm a carpenter who was looking to hire a design company to help me design a a remodel due to fire. At the end I ended up having to draw my own plans to get a permit.

"(consumer name withheld per their request) is a con artist....what he doesn't tell you is that I GIVE him drawings to a hair salon for his wife office at no charge which he did get permits for. He also doesn't tell you I offered produced many floor plans for his home which he would change seems like every other day. He can not decide on what he wanted or what he wanted in a house plan. Yes, he is a carpenter that lied about our agreement. He refused to pay my the final amount he owed me, so I would consider him a thief. Would not recommend him to do work on anybody's home. He's a lier."

1) The first issue is that he quoted me $500 on the phone thencharged me $800. I brought this up with him a couple of times and he didn't budge. If he would have said $800 to start with, I would have shopped around. 2) The second issue is that he is not a licensed architect. He picked up this as a retirement business. 3) I had to point out multiple errors as he was drafting my project. For instance, he drew in a 4ft wide bathroom-even a basic standard tub is 5 ft tall. Then as the contractor was building my addition, he had to make adjustments to the plans.
