"Other contractors wanted to remove much of the old siding and start with a clean slate. However, Steve did a good job in retro-fitting the replacement siding. He even worked to match the color and texture -- so the new siding would match the old. He was professional, prompt, and pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire him again.
