Ready Decks

Most contractors are more than willing to do so as they know that their reputation is on the line...This one was not. There refused to return and correct the items that were not installed correctly. Clients called, agents called and I called. The wood beams were inatsalled with sheet metal screws and shanks. they were set on the mid column with no fasteners effectively securing the load bearing beams. One was about to fall when we left.

Ready Deck did an outstanding job! At first they did not understand the type of fence we wanted, but once they realized there was a disconnect in what we wanted versus how the build was going, they quickly course corrected with no fuss or bother. The type of fence we wanted was a little out of the norm for a typical fence. Once we were all on the same page, they tore down what they had already built and re built exactly what we were asking for. Not only did they do it without fuss, but the fence looked FANTASTIC.
I applaud a company willing to make a customer happy - Too few companies take that pride anymore. But Ready Deck did it right and I would reccomend HIGHLY.

The put some shotty work into it. I have a problem with the quality of wood they used to build the porch. They say they will come out and build you a deck or porch in a day. They do that. But some of the wood is inferior quality. I have a board over the top, right under the covered roof, close to my house that it starts off at a certain thickness and it goes to where it is thinner than ply wood. I have all ripped boards face up. I have a split board right as you walk out my door that something is gonna catch it and bust a big hunk of wood off of it. They have put inferior quality wood there. I have called them and the man was going to come look at it. He has never come back. I was not watching everything they did. They got it finished and it looked nice. Then I noticed all of the problem with it. They left nails laying around when they were done. I just think they did a shotty job and used inferior boards and stuff. They did not come back to check it out and try to fix anything.

I used him last May to build my deck and patio. They do very good work and they also work fast. I was impressed with how pleasant they were to work with and I would give them an A rating.

Provided a master carpenter, deck materials and supplies. Used the same company a year before to build a deck and repair a boat dock.
