"The owner is mentally unstable, our company went over & beyond the scope of services, and our efforts where unappreciated. The owner took a job that should not have been over 60 days & turned it into 8 months and counting, she refused to allow work to be executed when she would leave to go back on the West Coast. No selection of any kind would not be given until she would schedule a visit to N.O. She lied to us and our subcontractors repeatedly. She charged over $8,000 of cabinets on my account unauthorized, she misled my sales rep. Then she refused to pay the bill disputed the total cost of the cabinets that her & my sales rep negotiated, locked my account up for over 4 months, until she finally decided to pay when I was ready to press criminal charges against her. Our agreement was for labor only no materials. She made reference about my father who has passed away 2 yrs ago (negative). & yes I did get upset & said a cuss word after the statement about my deceased father. Based upon her actions throughout the project we thought she was mentally unstable and voided our agreement because of actions to many to address in this forum. We are the 3rd contractor on her site, 2 other’s were ran off before us, & then sued by the owner. We took the job only because she was friends of my sisters husband. Did not want the job because of her history. Did not think she would do to us, like she did the other contractors, because of her relationship w/family members. We were wrong."
