Auto Service
First, let me point out that it took 2 1/2 months to only partially complete the job with ever increasing, exhaustive excuses about suppliers. Yet when a final invoice was submitted, immediate payment was expected. Of the work that was considered completed nearly everything required additional attention. The awning continued to leak profusely requiring it to be caulked the entire length. We were later informed caulk was not necessary had it been installed correctly. Additionally, there was no hole drilled in the roller for the center support leg. The television antenna would not retract and needed adjustment to do so. It was not tested upon installation. The refrigerator roof cap, immediate roof area and radio antenna spring and base were so smeared with sealant that it required much time and effort in an attempt to remove the excess (easily prevented by a simple rag). We got another estimate from a different repair company for the remainder of the work that was not completed and realized that On-Site had grossly underestimated the materials costs and our insurance company had already paid the total of his estimate. How were we to pay for unfinished work? During this time, we were threatened with a law suit. Also, comparing the two estimates we were given by On-Site (one for insurance work, the other for non-insurance repairs) the labor rate my insurance provider was charged was $95. per hour. However, the rate charged to an individual was only $75.00 per hour, blatant insurance fraud. This is why we (all of us) pay exorbitant premiums.
