Upon paying him only $1000. for the move itself he left with my cash and left his crew of 2 guys to "prepare the mobile home for the move" while he went and had his truck worked on. (to set up a mobile home for move takes an hour as I was told by several other movers in the area)
He came back 4 hours later, with the truck issues still apparently not repaired.
During the move the front storm door flew open and shattered the glass. Siding flew off the side. Fireplace stack was damaged from improperly removing the stack before transport. The tongue of the mobile home dug into the street due to them not lifting the mobile home high enough with the truck which bent the tongue.
Speed limit for a mobile home mover transporting a mobile home is 50 mph. As I was following doing 60+ mph to keep up.
His escort pulled up along side of me asking me to speed up and go around so they could follow me to my property. Upon doing so a red light ahead started turning yellow then red. I slowed and then stopped at it.. He began laying on his horn and passed thru the intersection at a high rate of speed disregarding the light being red.
Upon arrival at my property he asked if I was "happy" with the move.. I then explained I was NOT happy due to the broken glass and siding missing.. He said I was unappreciative that he saved my life by swerving around me at the intersection, and anyone else would be thanking him and not worrying about the door and siding.
He didnt set the mobile home up and stated that he was saving me $50 by not applying the state required Louisiana Manufactured Housing Commission sticker to the mobile home showing who moved and set it up.
I found out during my interview and sworn statements with attorneys of the LMHC that they are very familiar with this company.
I had to hire another moving company and pay another $1000.00 to complete the job he could not legally do. Had he completed the job and I pay him the $600 plus the additional $400 he was saying I would pay at the end of the job for "additional supplies" and my mobile home failed inspection, I would have to pay ANOTHER company to come out and re-set up my mobile home at a price exceeding $1000 to pass inspection and have my utilities turned on.
The other company could not place the firestack on the fireplace because of the damage done behind the sheetrock wall inside. I had to tear out the wall to repair it.
Without going into detail, I will be summoned to appear in court due to this ordeal soon.
I strongly urge anyone looking at this company or any other as a mover to contact the BBB as well as the Housing Commission to verify proper licenses.
This guy is great at BullS**ting to sound like he is "helping" you out.
