Do NOT use this company. Check out reviews and complaints on BBB and the internet and you will find a pattern of slow delivery, even from those who get their systems. And he is not just a little late; sometimes it takes him over a year to deliver the system and for others like us, he just takes the money. He has nothing but excuses and has a tone of injury that he is being treated poorly by his own customers for their lack of understanding. This is not personal; this is not an attack. This is business and we are sharing information about a business that does not follow ethical practices. When a business cashes your check, you become an existing customer. If you don’t have time for all of your customers, don’t cash the check. Contact BBB and verify statements; they have documentation.

Definitely one of the worst companies in the area. Took the owner Matt over a year to finish a job and took $15,000 from me. He wouldn’t give me the money back wouldn’t finish the job. eventually I got him to finish with threats of jail and suing him. The contract he wrote had him almost $20,000 in late fees, he refused to pay that but we did agree on a second contract which would provide me additional batteries for my system. as a fraudulent man, he has failed on that contract also. Whatever you do, don’t trust him don’t work with him. It’s not worth the stress.

BEWARE: GRAND THEFT SOLAR & WIND! This company (owner Matthew Roberts) fraudulently used credit card info and stole over $30,000 from Lilly Roofing company. They have been dodging resolution for months.

There are not words to describe how horrendously this company treats it's clients. I have lost track of the dozens (yes, honestly dozens) of days that I have spent sitting waiting for one planet solar to show up to do work as they scheduled. They don't return calls, the 6 week project i was originally quoted took over a year and a half. In October there was a recall on the batteries I had installed, he said 2 weeks to get them back, here I am in March wondering if he ever intends to install them.

Install crew did not show up when promised. I emphasized that if it starts raining they will not be allowed to start. They showed up three weeks after the scheduled date to start the install, on a rainy day. They drove their trucks and equipment over my lawn rutting up the yard. They did not return as promised when I had to be there. I would have to sit and wait the entire day for them to cancel, but I would have to make the call to see when they were coming. I keep getting the typical answers full of excuses and empty promises. The owner/manager will not even return your phone call once the contract is signed. You will be promised financial rewards for recommending others to use their company that you will never see. Empty promises with many excuses as to why you cannot get in touch with the owner/manager and why deadlines are busted by several weeks to a month. I do like the quality of the solar panels, but cannot recommend the company due to the terrible customer service.

They set up the loan for me and will fill out all of the paperwork for the different rebates so all I have to do is sign my name. The loan they got me is for 18 months and there is no interest, extra fees or monthly payment. They did an excellent job. Two men installed the system in less than a week. All of the workers were pleasant to be around.

There were a few minor delays in getting started, but the installation quality exceeded my expectations. Very proffesional job. I highly recommend this contractor for Solar panel installation.

Update: Although this is supposed to be an 8000 watt solar array, i have not seen it exceed 7000 watts yet. This is a pretty significant variance from the expected levels. It might be advisable to get an array larger than you think you need.

Well Matt was a really nice guy to start it off, definitely as much energy in him as the sun he has helped me harness. He came to my house in Shreveport to check out my house and see if I can do solar then came back the same week for a proposal. I did my financing through his no interest financing and on top of that with the tax credits I got 80% off the cost of the system! I think the final cost was just under $4000 for everything installed and ready, and its already working itself toward being paid back! Five years to go and it should have paid off what I put into it. Im impressed with the quality of the work and the quality of the system they installed. I think it looks great. Matt and his people seemed to know what they were doing. He also has a master electrician that does all the wiring into my house and helps put the two way electric meter in for the utility so I can sell power back during the day. As far as why I chose them to install my solar I think it was based on what I felt like I was confident I was getting in terms of quality for my money. I want something thats going to sit out there and work for me the next 40 or more years I want it done right. I had Wilhite solar come out and give me a quote too.. Wow, I think I might have to write them their own review after this I was so less than confident about the feeling they gave me- Dont even bother with Wilhite because they wont even tell you what you will produce. Ive got to say it was a big purchase for me, its the second largest thing ive ever purchased for my house- but by the time im done adding more poles full of solar panels its going to be the biggest thing ive bought for my house. I mean shoot ya cant beat it! It paid itself back double already just on added value. I will use this company again to expand- Hopefully soon ill produce 100% of my power!
