Mike was great

They gave me the best estimate out of three. Extremely difficult work replacing an old sewer line because of long standing oak trees. He never stopped. He also brings his grandfather who I think started the business and trained Mike.

The service was awesome! They answered the phone during the worst ice storm of the year!!! They guided me in the right direction and were up front about the cost of the repair before any work started. The repair was done correctly, and I was given advice on how to prevent further damage during future ice storms.

My rental home had extensive plumbing issues that were causing my tenant an emergency. Mike gave me a full diagnosis of the problems along with photos and explained the issues and repair options in a way that was easy to understand and with related costs. He provided great communication to me and my tenant throughout the job, was expeditious in getting the job started/completed and even worked with a separate septic vendor to coordinate the entire job to my satisfaction. He also sent photos upon completion. In all, the work was done effectively, efficiently and I believe I also paid a fair price for the amount of work required with just about zero stress on my part. Based on this experience, I would hire C & B plumbing again for a future plumbing job.

My water stopped getting hot on a Friday night. At that point, I go into panic mode because I have to have hot water. I wake up Saturday morning, thinking what am I going to do. It’s the weekend and everyone will charge an arm and a leg since it’s after hours. I start calling around to a the numbers I could find and get no answer. I had one last number to tell and yep, it was C & B Plumbing Inc. They answer and I tell them the issue. This was around 7:00am. They then ask, are you available to meet around noon? I’m like today around noon…lol. They say yes. As promised, right before noon they were at the door. They took their time to explain the issue and we actually talked and laughed about other things. They got the job done in no time at a reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend me them and use them again!!!

It was great! He was here 2 days before Christmas helping us get our brand new kitchen remodel conplete so we could use it on Christmas eve! We also used their services several months before to install a new gas water heater, which was also a great experience. Highly recommend!

everything was perfect. The plumbers name was Joe. Very kowledgeable and professional. He even had to climb under the house and it was soaking wet. He did a great job and was very polite. I hope I never have another problem but if I do I will definitely call them.

Toilet Repair and Gas Leak Repair

This is how it went
  On the positive side:  they were very responsive and arrived within the hour of being called.  When he arrived he first tried to unclog the toilet using a tool that went down into the toilet to see if there was some obstruction. That's all the positvie remarks I have.   When that didn't work, he went out to the septic tank and dug two holes about 2 feet in diameter and a foot or so deep.  He told me that the person who installed the system did it incorrectly and that there was no "tail line" for the system to drain and showed me how the pipe ended only a few feet from the tank.  He said he'd call me later with a price to correct the problem.  He then told me I owed him $250 for the services he did to that point because "I have been killing myself with this shovel".  Then he left without filling the holes he had dug and without picking up the debris he left in my yard.  They later called back and left a message  with a price of another $1,500 to finish the job.   A few days later I was having a natural gas line run and was telling the installer about the situation.  It turns out that in fact there was a tail line and I only needed to replace a short piece of piping. I'm not saying this people are incompetent or unethical.  But it seems to me that a person who has been in business as long as this person says he has and knows as much about the businesss as he says he does, would be able to diagnose this issue in a few minutes.  I will NEVER use them again.

Joe came to my home to repair some plumbing issues. I expected him to complete the work fully and he only completed half the job. They used all incorrect parts for replacement which causes the shower head to leak.  In addition, when the tub faucet is turned on in the turn it causes leakage from the shower head as well. I have called them for the past 3 weeks and he finally returned my call on 4/7/12 and advised me that he was coming to fix the problem and he never showed.  I haven't heard from him since that time. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use this company.

C&B Plumbing was called because my 3 toilets would not flush. They began to overflow and water began coming up through my tub drains. I called, and spoke with someone that Monday and was told "Joe the Plumber" would be sent out the next morning. Joe the plumber (plus another person) came out and removed and reset the toilet in my master bedroom and claimed they had sucessfully solved our plubming problem. Within an hour of them leaving, the same exact problem ensued. I called C&B Plumbing back, and they returned. They went outside and supposedly remedied the problem. They told me they flushed the pipe from outside and unclogged it that way. Joe and friend informed me that that price would be higher than what I originially paid, $175. However, I reminded Mr. Joe that his ticket indicated there was a 30 day warranty on the work. At this point, Joe and friend left. After two days, the same exact problem occurred. I called C&B Plumbing that night, and I was told to contact Joe to see if I could get a partial refund on the work. Joe said he had to talk to "poppa" to see about returning the next day to fix the problem and would call tomorrow. In the meantime, I called City Parish Department of Public Works Sewer Maintenance. They dispatched someone within 30 minutes. The problem is being corrected as I type. It was a sewer problem. C&B plubming should know when to refer. I found C&B plumbing rude, incompetent, and highly unprofessional. I will never, ever call them again or refer them to anyone I know.
