They took almost 3 weeks to respond to my call after the year old standby generator stopped working 2 days into hurricane Ida. I had to pay someone to come out in the meantime and I found out that they’d grounded the generator to the GAS pipe! Also the generator is not 3 feet away from my water heater. They Finally called and I was driving so said I’d have to call back and she said I can drop them and use someone else as if I call back I’ll get the answering service and no telling when she’ll be able to call me. She also said their server and computers were totally destroyed by trees which I know to be untrue as I drove there to take a look. The office is the bottom floor of the owners home and the building is still standing. Outright lies.

Great. Very professional and I can be demanding! I am very pleased. And it came on for the first time on our recent snow day! It was great!

There were delays due to bad weather. However, it took quite a few phone calls to get them to return and completely fill in the trench (for the natural gas line) they had dug in my backyard and smooth out the soil above the trench. Otherwise it went well.

Bad experience all around.  At first meet to go over time needed and install details, and to sign contract, owner promised for electrical install  it would not be over 5 - 6 hours without electricity.  I specifically told him I had a disabled mom at home, and could not be without electricity for more than that.  I had a place for her to go from around 8:00 to 3:30.  After that it was imperative I had electricity back on.  Owner said "no problem".  I asked that generator be placed in back of house, we even went outside and walked around, and his quote included extra 12 ft of gas line so it would go to back of house by rock garden.

Electric install day was a disaster.  Electric turned off 8:30. and the rebuild of electric box began around 9:30.  All went well, guys were courteous and cleaned up all their debris.  Electric rebuild finished around 2:30 and tech call their office to send inspector so electric could be turned back on.  We waited, and waited.  No tech showed so at 5:30 we called the office.  Techs sat out in their truck in the hot sun for 4 hours waiting.  Finally it was determined that their office staff (wife was manning office at this time) had never called the inspector.  He was called at 5:30 and out at the hour at 6:30 to inspect electric rewiring.  Still had to call Entergy to send out someone to hook up electrical.  Entergy finally showed up at 8:30 pm.  We were without power for 12 hours.  It was exremely h****** my mom with no electric.  We had to borrow a friend's small portable gas generator to hook up a fan for her.  This was ludicrous.....At 7:30 I was waiting for Entergy and call Valentine's office and received a recording that they have 24 hour service but this was the answer machine.  So I called the owner's cell phone, and of course received voice mail.  He just was not interested in our problems with his service.
They came back to install the generator, and put it 8 foot in the air on a stand.  I asked they put it lower, but they said we were in a flood zone and it had to go that high.  They could not even work on it without a ladder, now how am I supposed to get to it to check it out regularly as required.  I will have to hire someone to just come and look it over.  It is in the middle of my side yard. 
 
I feel the owner did not listen to me, or consider my feeling or thoughts during this whole process.  The techs that came out were very sympathetic, but could do nothing without the owner's approval.
Would not recommend this experience to anyone, until purchaser got specific requests in writing.

The installers were right on time for the scheduled installation. They handled all the permits.  They were courteous and handled the installation in a professional manner.   Because of my house electrical wiring they ran into a not normal situation but handled it without any problems.
About 3 weeks after the installation we had a  wide area power outage for about 1 1/2 hours, the generator kicked in on schedule so we were not inconvenienced at all.
