 + 5 moreWe are very pleased with the workmanship, the guys who did the work, Chuck the contractor we worked with was excellent. the wife loved the bathrooms. During the summer everyone wants work done to their house, He was able to work us into his schedule. He took time to explain the work, showed us houses that he had built, gave us ideas on where to save money, what would look best where. The other 3 other contractors gave us the feeling that the work wasn't work the time. Chuck worked around our schedules, and we were able let him and his workers in the house to do their work. Change requests were easy, and didn't extend the overall by a significant length of time. Yes, we highly recommend southern equity contractors.
Description of Work: enclosed a 10 x 12 foot patio and made it a master closet for the bedroom with clothes racks painted another 8x10 foot closet and installed closet racks painted master bedroom, added a 5 x 3 foot double pane window to the master bedroom installed ceiling fan, master bedroom installed wider door to closet completely remodeled master and guest bathrroom with whirlpool and ceramic tile removed wall between formal dining and den installed recess lighting throughout house painted kitchen and patch holes in den and kitchen tiled kitchen, front, back door entrances installed wood and laminate flooring in the entire house

 + 3 moreChuck was the contractor. He took time with us. Showed us some of his work in other houses. Helped us make decisions. Very helpful. We felt he was reasonable and felt like he really cared about the work.
Description of Work: Rework both bathrooms and tiled them. New tub vanity in master bathroom. Remove wall between dining room and den. Painted bedroom, enclosed 10x12 front patio and made it a master closet. Installed wood floors and tile kitchen.

 + -1 moreThe entire project went exactly as we planned and Chuck offered suggestions on the design, amenities, and other details. We were kept informed of the schedule for each phase of the construction and the approximate time the crew would arrive. We liked working with Southern Equity Contractors because we wanted to do some of the work (painting and some finish work) and Chuck accommodated us. Chuck was easy to work with on various details and made sure we both agreed to any changes and would be satisfied with the final result. I would use Chuck on any future home projects.
Description of Work: Southern Equity Contractors added a patio to our home. This was not an easy addition and had to tie into an existing roofline. We wanted the patio to blend in with the original house construction with a outdoor feel.

Description of Work: Chuck and his crews are undeniably the best I have ever come across. Chuck, the owner, is very particular about the work his guys do and he keeps them running at an extremely high standard. They came in my house quoted me a price and held true to it throughout the remodeling of my termite infested master bedroom and bathroom. A month later not only was everything back to normal but everything was in a much better condition than what I had previously even considered as possible. I plan on using them for my outdoor kitchen area as well as soon as I can recover from the termites. But I would highly recommend this vendor.
