Bill Heffley was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable. He was familiar with my roof from previous re-roof and roofing repairs for the person who owned the house in the 1970's and 1980's. Bill even had the proposals and invoices from the work. Bill took the time to answer my questions (I had a lot) thoroughly. He worked with me to meet my requirements for nails and drip edges. He suggested a better method to ventilate the roof using three turbines which was implemented. He provided me with references. The price was the cheapest, but it was fair. I was looking for a quality roofing job, so price was not the highest grading factor. Bill used the Talavera family to remove the old roof and install the new one. One of Bill's employees, Dewey (sp?) installed the flashing around the chimney. He also water proofed the chimney cap and sealed the chimney brickwork after pressure washing. The installation was very smooth. It was impressive to watch. They were very thorough with removing nails on the ground. A worker frequently used the rolling magnet especially during the removal process. Never found a nail on the driveway, and found only 1 or 2 in the yard which is a testament to their thoroughness. Bill and Dewey came out to the house periodically to ensure the installation was going well. The work is over a year old, and I have had no problems. The appearance of the roof is great.
