Servpro of Slidell

During Irene, we experienced major water damage to our dining room and basement.  Our insurance company recommended ServPro, and we went for it.  NJ was swarming with ServPro teams from out of the area given that the storm damage had overwhelmed the local groups.  ServPro was handling dispatch from a "national center" - ServPro of Slidell was the 5th outside ServPro contractor we were bounced around to, and the one that ultimately did the work.
Where do I start?  Although insurance paid for the majority, the charges were ultimately far more than estimated.  The company claimed to have cleaned things that were clearly not cleaned.  We found charges for worked not performed and had to ask that they be removed.  Communication was lacking, and we were often left wondering if anyone was going to show up and what they might need to do that day.  Perhaps the most irritating thing was to come home one of the days to find the cleanup crew using our whole house sound system to blast obscene music while our babysitter tried to get the baby to sleep.  
I would not hire these people again, ever.  I'd suggest that you look elsewhere for a more respectful, better value, more professional outfit should you face the unfortunate need for water damage remediation.

My neighbor had left their water on, which had resulted in my office being flooded. This company helped me solve the problem. They came out and removed the water. They also shampooed the carpet. Their charges were covered under my neighbor’s insurance claim. I know that it had cost $1,500. They have offices all over the place. I would use them again in the future.
