I was pleased with John's work.  He responded promptly to my request for quote.  After I communicated my expectations, he explained exactly what work he would perform and how it would be done.  He then provided his quote via e-mail as I requested.
His quote and another contractor's figure were very close, however I opted for John due to a comfort level resulting from our initial meeting.  Only problem was my paint job was placed in a queue due to other jobs John was working on.  Once the work began, it was provided quickly and neatly, however I was not happy with the finished result.  John acknowledge that the stucco material had absorbed the paint in a surprising manner and he had actually applied additional coats after the two that we had agreed to.  John quickly came back to the worksite without arguing, carefully applied another coat and trim simultaneously in order to eliminate any overlap and shading.  I was happy with the result and John's crew.

The workers sanded, told us step by step what they would be doing, how long it was going to take to dry, when they would return to complete job, etc. the doors were completed in three days. It was an excellent job, great service, reasonable cost, etc.

The guys showed up at 7:00 and were done by 10:30. I provided the paint. They used a little over one gallon of paint. They surprised me when the did the north facing facia board on the second story front of the house which was not in the agreement at no extra charge. John came over about a month earlier and looked at the job and gave me a hand written price. I told him it was not urgent just give me notice. He called my wife on Wednesday and told us his guys would be there Saturday at 7:00. They were.

Had some decorative wood shutters that needed to be refinished. Instead of john milking me for money and gladly talking the job. He offered an alternative suggestion saying it will probably be half the price to install vinyl shutters. He did say if I wanted to stay wood he would do the job but told me to consider the vinyl. Great communication and superior honesty. Would hire john for other jobs. Excellent integrity. Thanks Jon!

Our experience with John Arce's painting company was extremely positive. The crew arrived each day when they said they would, worked all day and we never saw any of the crew "hanging out".......... they worked !!! John was on site nearly everyday to oversee his crew and the progress of the job. He returned phone calls promptly and was very easy to work with. There was a crew "foreman", Morton, to whom we directed all of our questions and concerns during the job in John's absence. Each employee was polite and appeared to take pride in their work. They were respectful of our property and pets, worked neatly, and removed all trash daily. The job was completed in a timely manner, approximating the targeted completion date despite weather delays. The completed paint job is beautiful............very expertly done. I am a perfectionist and this paint experience met all of my standards. In addition to painting the house, they stained and sealed our porches, rails, and 2 benches, once they determined the wood was dried enough to have the materials properly applied. I would highly recommend John Arce's painting company.

We hired John Arce because he was recommended to us by another contractor that we had worked with. I have had many painters here as we have 4 big porches 12'X50 which require constant upkeep and a fairly big house. They did both inside and outside painting, much of which was a complete mess left for us by another painting company.
John had a crew here precisely when he said they would be here. The crew was so professional and fixed all of the messes that were left for us. He was here everyday that he crew was here inspecting the work that they were doing.
Honestly the best painters and painting company we have ever hired. I highly recommend them.
You can take John at his word, a completely upstanding guy.... A rare thing to find these days.

A previous "contractor" had left my home in a very sad way; skimming of walls was blotchy and sloppy, painting was sloppy, splattered and streaky, there was no cleaning up as they went, etc., etc.. JOHN ARCE and HIS TEAM REPAIRED EVERYTHING AND DID IT IN SUCH A PROFESSIONAL MANNER; it was like night and day!

They sanded woodwork smooth before each coat of paint, they used top quality paint, they showed up when they said they would, were tidy and considerate of our living in the home while they worked, and they cleaned up very nicely after themselves. When done John walked through with me and took care of even minor issues immediately and, thus, stayed totally through completion of the job!
Some might say they are a bit "pricey" but we say "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!" If you want professional, quality work THIS IS THE TEAM YOU NEED! Otherwise, you might end up like we did from the original guy.........

He was very meticulous, very professional and did a wonderful job. He kept a close watch on his men, they cleaned up really well and he tried to keep the bill as reasonable as possible. The only thing is, I feel the rates may be a bit high.
