+ -1 moreAfter years of great help, once again Mr. Gilbert recently did work for us, this time on the attic to ready it for the summer heat. He has done handyman services for my husband and I for several years, since we were introduced after Katrina. He can do anything from sheetrock, painting, flooring, roof work and plumbing - he does it well, he maintains the price he quotes, shows up when he promises, delivers in the timeline planned and leaves a very clean area after he is finished. He is honest, and I have often given him free access to my home when both the husband and I have to be at work, and he not only does the work and leaves everything as he found it, he is also careful not to let the pets escape through the door. He is reliable, honest and his prices are very competitive. We recommend Mr. Gilbert highly and based on our personnal experience with him, we know he is a great handyman to call. He has come to us when we had emergency trouble with the house, he will give you the options of the most economical options and the fancier ones, and we have always been happy with the result.
Description of Work: This past month (march/2001), Mr. Gilbert did attic work for us. Since Katrina, he has done several jobs, big and small, including roof repair, sheetrock and other installations in the laundry room, kitchen appliance installation, cabinetry installation in the kitchen, flooring, painting, and even built two walkways around the sides of the house for us, leading to the backyard.
