Arrived on time and protected area around fireplace with tarps. Used appropriate equipment to vacuum and clean fireplace with good result.
The only negative aspect of service was the unexpected high cost. However this was because I wanted the first available service date and did not discuss price before job. Some of the other fireplace/flue cleaners posted lower costs but were not available.

I would use service again but would negotiate before hiring.

Glen arrived after calling me first. He was very pleasant, but professional and worked straight through without taking breaks. He was very careful with his equipment inside and outside my house. The job took 2 days, but he came back a 3rd day for some clean up outside. He was very dependable on the job start to finish. We are very pleased with our choice of chimney sweep!

It went great! After I called him, he came over the next day. He was very courteous and professional. I pointed out my problem and he went to work. He had to order a part. As soon as it came in, he came over and completed the work. He had to move the dryer and washing machine to get to the dryer vent (it was a major pain to do that) and drill into the wall. After he installed the new metal duct, he cleaned the space behind my dryer and washing machine which hadn't been cleaned in years! He put everything back. it all looked great and I no longer have the problem of a bird nesting in my dryer vent, the deteriorated plastic from the old vent catching on fire, and I know how to move the dryer and clean the new vent. I highly reccomend Top Hat Chimney Sweep.
