Have a Great car- Hyundai Accent- love it! Have a 100,000 mile/10 year warranty on it. The clutch went out after only 23,000 miles. Have driven standard vehicles for years and know how to drive them without riding a clutch! They replaced it and said that it was not covered by the warranty because of driver insufficiency! Paid for it and then took the clutch to 3 other mechanics I trust & they all said that even had I ridden the clutch, it would not look like that. The car continued to have issues and the Hyundai dealer in Shreveport said that I had ruined the transmission as well. Drove it to the Houston Hyundai dealership & they realized there was a major problem withe the engine which they replaced under my warranty - no problems with transmission (very happy with them)! Went back to the Hyundai dealer in Shreveport & they would still not give me any satisfaction! Continued to say it was my driving habits! Very rude and inept! Have 90,000 miles on it now & have not had any more problems. Do NOT use the Hyundai dealership in Shreveport even if under warranty - drive or tow to another location!!!!!
