I fired them after work not being done, being lied to and not returning calls. Just found out the Todd Coleman and Rick Paul have been arrested for taking money and not doing the work. They both have criminal records and I don't understand how they were listed here. I am out $8300.

Nice young men. They worked late to finish job, so they wouldn't have to come back the next day. We had a little problem with scheduling because of their vehicle trouble, but they kept in communication throughout.

MR RICK CAME OUT TO GIVE ESTIMATE ON WORK...ON MAY 11TH THE WHOLE TOTAL AMOUNT WAS GIVEN TO HIM TO BEGIN WORK...STATED HE ONLY HAD 2 JOBS AHEAD OF ME..WELL LATER AS DAYS PASSED NO MR RICK...MY DAUGHTER CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS GIVEN SEVERAL DATES AS TO WHEN THEY WOULD START ON JOB...WELL NOTHING HAPPENED WITHIN A MONTH..,BUT HE HAD ALL HIS MONEY...FINALLY AFTER MY DAUGHTER HAD CALLED SEVERAL TIMES OVER AND OVER AGAIN...MR RICK SAID A GUY WAS COMING OUT...MR TODD...HE FINALLY CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE AND SAID HE DIDN'T PRICE THE WORK CORRECT AND ADDED ANOTHER 900.00 TO ESTIMATED...PAYMENT WAS MADE...DAYS AFTER MY DAUGHTER CALLED AGAIN...MR TODD DOESN'T SHOW...MINE YOU I HAD PAID HIM THE EXTRA MONEY...MY DAUGHTER CALLED AGAINNNN AND TALKED TO MR RICK..HE WASN'T AWARE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON....MINE YOU THIS STARTED BACK ON MAY 11TH AND NOW IT IS JULY 25TH AND IT HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF...THIS COMPANY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE...ESPECIALLY ELDERLY ONES...I WILL BE HANDLING THIS PROFESSIONALLY DUE TO MONEY WAS EXCHANGED..."BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY"....THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER COMPLETE THE JOB....JOB WAS HALF DONE... UPDATE::::: AS OF TODAY JULY 31, THE JOB HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED...I WAS TOLD IT WAS COMPLETED ON JULY 25 BY MR TODD, BUT I AM HERE IN MY HOME AND THE JOB WAS NOT...LATER A TEST MESSAGE WAS SENT TO MY DAUGHTER THAT HE WILL COMPLETE THE JOB ON SUNDAY JULY 26...NO ONE CAME UNTIL 4:00 THAT EVENING AND STILL SAID THAT HE WOULD COME BACK TO COMPLETE JOB...STILL UNACCEPTABLE....IN THE REPLY IT STATED JOB WAS 99% COMPLETE THAT WAS FALSE...THE GUY THAT IS THE FOREMAN OF THE COMPANY TALKED TO ME USING BAD LANGUAGE..VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND I AM 72 YEARS OLD...BOTTOM LINE IS ONCE THIS JOB IS FINISHED OR EVER FINISHED, THIS IS A COMPANY THAT I WILL NOT DEAL WITH EVER AGAIN...SO FROM MAY 11 TO JULY 31 JOB IS STILL NOT FINISH....VERY UNACCEPTABLE

Excellent! Rick came within 24 hrs of contact to assess and give an acceptable quote. It was a very small job, less than 90 sqft but tricky with all the different angles and being an old house with less than square walls. Alex came the next week working the job in between bigger jobs and completed all work (subfloor prep, installation, cleanup) within 9 hrs. Was communicative by phone re: arrival times, etc; most courteous & pleasant...able to talk and keep working at the same time! Floor looks wonderful! Couldn’t be happier. So glad I didn’t try to tackle myself as originally planned.

It is a beautiful floor the installer Alex did a quality job and his attitude and demeanor were above the usual for a working contractor.he is likeable and courteous.a great experience Ricks peoples choice is the only one I will ever use!

The job required removing a brick flooring and preparation of the surface. This work took over 3 weeks to remove the flooring. Some days the workers showed up and stayed just a few hours, sometimes not at all with no explanation. The demo phase took WAY longer than expected. The installer who put in our flooring was very professional and seemed to be experienced. However he had to constantly stop to help the demo guy finish his work or to help him out. The install was glued down. It required cleaning at the end to remove the glue residue. The installers couldn't remove the glue and the floor looked bad. We ended up doing that part ourselves Overall I'm happy with the flooring but not the process it took to get there. Took way too long and the punctuality and communication was poor throughout. I would also note that during the first visit to our home, the owner made a very racist remark about why dont we have a white history month. I wish I had followed my guy and threw him out of our home. Needless to say, I would not hire this company again and caution any homeowner about hiring them. Their main carpenter was awesome but the man in charge was not trustworthy and I feel he is a racist. So if you are black or brown, do not hire.

"Mrs [Member Name Removed] li sorry that this job was not done to your expectations. Their was a lot of extra work that ended up taking up brick pavers and getting your floor ready. I install your floor that you bought in Texas. This was only a labor job and I’m not responsible for the flooring you bought in Texas. Iv had only three jobs that had complaints and it was from customers that bought their on floors. If I had bought the floor my self it would have falling under my warranty’s. This is the first time Iv found out about yalls problem with my company. I’m sorry that y’all feel this way but I thought the job looked great and if you would like to call me we can discuss this and try to come together and look at the issue your complaining about. As for as you calling me a racist that was very much out of place. 60% of my over all business is from blacks and has been in my 49 years of business. God bless you guys."

Outstanding!! Todd and his crew did an outstanding job. TJ even got my hedge trimmer working which was not part of the job. The stair railing looks wonderful even my wife was pleased with it. I am going to have some work done on the kitchen and bathroom done in the future and will have them do the work when the time comes. Quality work done by this outstanding company.

Peoples Choice built a ramp for my dog to go from the inside to the outside and they did a great job. They explained what they would do and we set up a time and day for them to do the job and the next day I received a call letting me know they were on the way. Peoples Choice I would use again and I can say man of his word and made sure we were satisfied with the job.
