Price is Right Fence Company

Although the work was done, we determined that Calvin he had misled us about the cost of items, e.g., my wife wanted a screen door on the back door. Calvin said it would cost over $300 for the door alone, plus lock, and installation. After the fact, we found that the door was $99 at Home Depot. This is but one example of several things. Our last contact with him was for an ornamental railing on the front porch. He said it would cost $1250 installed. We contacted the company that was going to fabricate the railing. They would have charged $750 to make it, and install it. We had already paid Calvin $200, so he was going to install it for $1,050. We told him to forget it. I have yet to see my $200 returned.

Great work! Storm blew out my fence; had an estimate the very next day and work began next business day. Team was punctual and worked very fast. Was very happy with the new gate and fence. Decided to have it stained, and it was completed the next day. They also replace several rotted boards on the outside of the house.

Great job, did exactly what he said he would do at the price he quoted, Would recommend!

Rain caused me to lose 4 days work, instead of the normal 2.  I was not notified that the fence company was not coming; I had to call them to find that out (rain days).
The owner is to come back Friday to discuss the two gates being substandard, e.g. a level was obviously not used because the boards are not level.  Additionally, I will ask if he really gave me a 10% Senior Citizen Discount, because I really feel like the price should have come down 10% from the orginal quote.
I will not deal with a company in the future that does not produce a written contract and guarntee/warranty or a receipt when  paid in full.

Really nice people and I would recommend them with some notes and I would use them again... that being said:
The estimate was great, though we were a little bit wary having to pay half of the money half way through the job so that supplies could be purchased for the second half. I went over in detail with the owner as to where the fence should run, how tall it needed to be as there was an issue along the back of the property, and how quickly it needed to be done. 
Problem 1 - Each time I corrected an issue like having a post moved to make the fence even and level, I was told that it was alright, but I was "changing my mind". If you hire this company, be very clear about what you want and make sure you make a diagram.
Problem 2 - One of the posts was very loose. It was one of the longer posts along the back of my property and the post was repaired, but the fact that it wasn't done right the first time is a little off putting. If you plan to use them, just be sure to check the work at the mid way point, not after the work is done.
Problem 3 - One run of fence was totally out of level. Again, the problem was fixed, but it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. The owner was out of town so his workers were not supervised. Again, it was fixed promptly. If you decide to use them, you might want to be home and keeping an eye out. This was not an option for me for most of the project.
Again, if you address these three points from the get go, have a diagram, check the work and address issues while the work is being done, and keep an eye on things start to finish, this company is well worth the price. You do get what you pay for.

These guys are good.  Fast, reliable and do a wonderful job.  I would recommend  them to anyone who is looking for a new fence.

Great price, clean & perfect work. Very fast work! We had a privacy fence installed, will def use them again when we are ready to have the portion of the fence that was installed before we bought the house redone.

They had to dig very deep around the columns and pour concrete around them plus they had reposition my gate and lift a portion of the fence that had sunk.

called contractor.  He was at myhome and gave me a price we agreed upon in less than an hour.  He gave me a date he would do the work.  Work was accomplishes the day he promised and to my satisfaction.

We were looking for someone to erect a chain link fence. We observed a neighbors fence and found out the name of the company. Called that same day and got an immediate response. The owner came out that same day and gave us an estimate. The estimate was half of a previous estimate from another company. We agreed upon a date to begin and arrived at the time they said they would. The work was completed on the date they said and was a very professional job.
