Petsmart

We've taken our dogs to them a number of times (total - 10?), usually we liked them fine. However, the last time they did not have our dog ready when they said they would and we had to sit and wait about 40 min. Another time they were late they said was because our dog was getting too stressed during the cut and they put her in the back for a while until she was more relaxed. She is a timid dog but extremely sweet so this might have been true. I didn't mind waiting on her for that reason. However, they could have just told me that as an excuse because no other groomer ever told me she acted that way. Also, they can't do difficult dogs. We got an 8 year old rescue cockapoo who they could not groom (Paradise Grooming could), they charged us for the shampoo and nail trim which I wasn't happy about because I could have done that at home and I still was going to have to pay the full price at another groomers. They should have at least given it to us for free. Since they are a chain store service, they are not very personable. The cuts they have done have all been good and I like being able to watch them through the glass as you get to see how they handle the dogs.
